Maybe you're right. Come to think of it, the last time KFP being full of idiots truly bothered me was when the Takamori act was still active... but I'm also avoiding watching chicken so my contact with her fans is limited.
I think Kiara realized after the weird Bloom Into You fanservice and the collective Takamori chimpout that was Calli meeting her Mom in Minecraft, that Takamori had grown into a cult and she had fallen into a trap of being chained to Calli which Ame dodged with her early dependence on Gura. I joined membership after she finally neutered it and she has been pretty chill ever since. It's why I like the Ame and Kiara friendship arc that took off last summer. They both were trapped in the shadows of their larger genmates and fought tooth and nail to step out of that and strike out on their own.
I remember Calli was gushing over her after the Holodeath stream. She really likes Rushia.

Nina's roommate account was Monkeyism and she was a huge SJW, all stereotypes included. Danger hair, Karen ass voice, all the works. With that said, she seems to have changed for the better when she joined Niji. She's said very candidly that she joined Niji, as someone else has said before, to get some friends, which is probably a side effect of her life as Monkeyism since well, nobody sane wants to be friends with someone like her and even the like minded people hate each other and she does truly seem to be happy at Niji. Even the other members of Ethyria like her so she's probably moved on from that phase. Of course, time will tell if she'll stay like this and there's also the obvious thing of Nina being more successful than Monkeyism but for the near future, she seems to have found happiness in this new part of her life.
Well shit, that kind of dampens the mood on her for me. Lets hope you guys end up being right and she doesn't end up getting terminated in the future for having a massive political fit on her work account.
Ultimately it comes down to whether one believes that someone can change or keep parts of their lives separate. So far Nina's been one of the more professional members of the branch, with her only real yab being mentioning that KSon is Coco on stream. I would also note that she began shifting away from politics when she switched to vtubing before she joined Nijisanji. Millie and Enna will make jokes about capitalism and whatnot but Nina's never really joined in on them.
