Vlad daddy strain. I mean the nigger has said multiple times the USSR breaking up was a disaster and has made it plain he wished it never happened and his policies are very obviously geared to getting the former Soviet republics to get in line and take orders from Moscow again, it's cringe af to act otherwise
If he was gonna do some neo-Soviet shit he would've annexed Belarus and Kazakhstan by now. He does the Soviet nostalgia schtick because it's popular with Russians.

Elon Musk stated that the Starlink service is active in Ukraine, Ukraine thanks them

Putin's invasion of Ukraine was totally irrational IMO
I disagree. Check out the statement he made: https://archive.fo/8vnAp
Choice quote:
>Finally, after the US destroyed the INF Treaty, the Pentagon has been openly developing many land-based attack weapons, including ballistic missiles that are capable of hitting targets at a distance of up to 5,500 km. If deployed in Ukraine, such systems will be able to hit targets in Russia’s entire European part. The flying time of Tomahawk cruise missiles to Moscow will be less than 35 minutes; ballistic missiles from Kharkov will take seven to eight minutes; and hypersonic assault weapons, four to five minutes. It is like a knife to the throat. I have no doubt that they hope to carry out these plans, as they did many times in the past, expanding NATO eastward, moving their military infrastructure to Russian borders and fully ignoring our concerns, protests and warnings. Excuse me, but they simply did not care at all about such things and did whatever they deemed necessary.
>A law has already been adopted that allows foreign troops to come to Ukraine in 2022 to take part in multinational drills. Understandably, these are primarily NATO troops. This year, at least ten of these joint drills are planned.
Obviously, such undertakings are designed to be a cover-up for a rapid buildup of the NATO military group on Ukrainian territory. This is all the more so since the network of airfields upgraded with US help in Borispol, Ivano-Frankovsk, Chuguyev and Odessa, to name a few, is capable of transferring army units in a very short time. Ukraine’s airspace is open to flights by US strategic and reconnaissance aircraft and drones that conduct surveillance over Russian territory.

Right or wrong, Russia has an interest in not letting the USA have a staging ground for military action right on his border.

Recall that the USA is a country which has invaded Korea, Vietnam, Iraq, and Afghanistan, all of which are countries that do not border the United States and which have no substantial US population. Ukraine at least has actual ethnic Russians who speak Russian there. Obviously this is part of the great game of chess that all world powers play, but it's lunacy for representatives of the USA to try to convince me, the tax payer, that my money should pay to kill people in another country because I'm supposed to believe this week's Voldemort-Hitler is carrying out his own USSR flavored invasion of Poland.

Ukrainian came out of their bunker during the day but has now moved back underground, into a garage...

Yeah and fucking Russia and China would NEVER exercise similar authoritative control
Nah man you got it wrong Russia and China take care of their people, they take even better care of the lands they annex, When Russia wins they are gonna give all the Ukrainians stimulus checks and Russian mail order brides while simultaneously lower taxes in Ukraine.

I would not believe any media story ever that even mentions "anonymous".
Seriously, I don't know how anyone would believe that modern anonymous is actually responsible for any of this. They go from basically doing fuck all but being a social media mouthpiece to ddosing and somehow doing giant data breaches. I definitely agree that whomever is puppeteering the shell of anonymous glows.

Russia will not annex Ukraine. The Russian Federation is in decline, the goal is to stabilize it. Incorporating subjugated peoples is not going to help Russia.
War has existed in Europe for ever.
It is not your fucking business.
Pretty sure Putin said in his 5,000 word speech that the soil belongs to Russia. I don't know, how much more obivous did he have to make it? Did he have to say it in English?

Some of the Russian tactics don’t make much sense to me. I’m no master general but zerging your armored formations forward with no combined arms support and only the infantry you can carry in APCs or unprotected trucks until you reach your objective or run out of gas seems like a great way to have your columns picked off by irregular forces or Javelins. Plus there’s no point in reaching your objectives if you just show up isolated, outnumbered, and out of fuel. This isn’t touch football where the first Russian who touches the Ukrainian parliament in Kiev instantly wins the war for Putin. A spearhead only works if you have forces behind it to exploit the breakthrough.
It's not spearhead, it's reconnaissance.
