This would never work for a number of reasons:
1. Tanks have multiple periscopes. The Driver, gunner, and commander all have one, and the gunner and the commander each have a machine gun on some tanks.

It's plausible, yes. The MIG 29 is an older model aircraft, but most of Russia's air force is of a similar vintage and the 29 is not sold it's totally out classed.

Is it plausible though? It's claimed the Ghost has shot down two Su-27s. The only time I've been able to find that these two planes fought was in Eritrea/Ethiopia. In both 2v1 and 1v1 situations the Su-27 came out victorious with a 4-0 record. The Su-27 can also engage a target from up to 45kms away as opposed to the MiG which can only engage from about 28kms. It's also supposed to have shot down a Su-35 which is an upgraded Su-27.

Also when was the last time Ukrainian Air Force pilots flew combat sorties? Russia is actively engaged in Syria and I don't think Ukraine has done anything of the sort, even in Iraq and Afghanistan but please correct me if I'm wrong. Essentially this would be a simulation trained pilot beating experienced Russian pilots while using a worse platform. It's like saying you can engage a veteran infantryman because you play a lot of ArmA despite him having a gun that can end your life from 17kms further away than you can touch him.
