From what I understand, what he's actually said is more along the lines of "Anyone who doesn't lament the fall of the Soviet Union has no heart, anyone who wants to recreate the Soviet Union has no brain."

I mentioned this like an hour ago, but Russia is the one fighting uphill believe it or not.
I know better at this point to make any predictions because the universe just loves to prove me wrong in the most clownish possible ways. But I will say that even capitulation won't equate to a sustained occupation.
In the modern battlefield, occupation is an expensive endeavor.

Right. Like man I have a soft spot for the helpless as much as any decent person but it is now to the point where if I see a dog or a kid in the clip, my emotions shut off. Other than deep irritation as the alarms go off: "this motherfucker is trying to manipulate you into something that benefits only him."

The Russians are ultimately gonna win, IMO, but the Ukies aren't making it easy for them. And someone earlier today said Putin has been using the scrubs so far.

I thought the issue was that there wasn’t real political discussion in his eyes and just exiles enjoying the freedom to act like this is /pol/ on steroids and in the words of one user “support a fascist genocidal coup so long as the insurgents promise to ban they/them pronouns”.

Well I don't know about you fellas but this post from Soynymous has sure convinced me to fire up Kali and join the fight against a dangerous nuclear-armed nation power as a non-Ukrainian, non-uniformed combatant that wouldn't be subject to the Geneva convention rules of engagement.

Urban war is almost as bad as jungle, If urban war had the heat and bug bites it would be on par, Lots of hidey holes, easy to get flanked and ambushed even if you level the place with carpet bombing, good luck maneuvering tanks all over the place with rubble scattered all over the streets, What are you talking about? Why do you think most conflicts happen in open areas away from cities historically.
