General Discussion for Virtual Youtubers / Vtubers / Chuubas - it's okay to be a simp for 2D, just don't thirstpost.

Ultimately it comes down to whether one believes that someone can change or keep parts of their lives separate. So far Nina's been one of the more professional members of the branch, with her only real yab being mentioning that KSon is Coco on stream. I would also note that she began shifting away from politics when she switched to vtubing before she joined Nijisanji. Millie and Enna will make jokes about capitalism and whatnot but Nina's never really joined in on them.

That's true. There's a difference between the webcam era of Monkeyism and the V-Tuber era of Monkeyism, whose only 'controversy' was because people took her only surviving YouTube clip wildly out of context.

Nina has had ample opportunity to lolcow herself and she just...hasn't. You can tell from her PowerWash streams that she's a very intelligent woman. She's also something of a Nijifag because they offered the male V-Tubers she was looking for. She was commenting on Niji posts since 2020.

While we're all busy Nina sperging. I initially had reservations about her like most here, and still do to some extent. One thing I do very much appreciate about her though is she seems to make an active effort to lift up new members. She has made streams hyping up each of the upcoming gens each time they've come out and to me at least they do seem more about hyping up the new members instead of trying to profit off of their hype.

Her philosophy is that she wants male V-Tubers to crack the west, and said she'll do everything she can to achieve that.

It was the same stream she laughed at the idea of having unicorns and told them that she's been fucked and they aren't welcome if they're there to hold her to a certain standard.

The new Irys song is maybe my favorite of hers, her voice sounds much more interesting in this one. The MV art is also super beautiful, i hope she gets some more views on it with time.
The nijien song sounds interesting, but needs to grow on me some more. Will watch the first debut and then i decide if i sleep or continue watching. I am still searching for a comfy male streamer that doesn´t cater as hard to the fujos.
But I am already salty that one of the better designs is seemingly taken by a girl, but you never know, maybe she is a great talent and just fits well into the group.

I'm glad they aren't completely unpersoning Rushia. It rubs me the wrong way when it happens to anybody for any reason. I think it's insane to pretend as if someone who has had an impact on you just doesn't exist because they royally fucked up. It's one thing if you're mad at them and you'd rather not think about them, but some coordinated effort by a group to try and force a collective amnesia about a person is dystopian as all hell. So even though I think Rushia definitely got what was coming to her, it's warming my cold heart to see Mori and Flare say these things.

Fuck my life. Had to go to sleep early and I have been busy the whole day today (which is why I havent really posted any Pippa clips). Need to watch the Unarchived karaoke and the Kizuna Ai concert.

pretty much dead in the water since the Vshojo-Nux fiasco. Think it's as dead as Rushia's career at Hololive
I think they are probably going to give it a few months for people to completely forget about the drama before they bring that back. About 6 or 7 big indies had replaced their Twitter handle with [REDACTED].

Ina talked about her mobile workstation during the last member stream, and Ame has been AWOL for a while, so there is a high chance of all of them being in Japan at the moment.
I know they were going to lift some of the restrictions a bit but last I heard the restrictions were still there.

Ame is always the one behind the scenes making things happen. I've said in the past and I'll say it again, she inherited Coco's legacy. She is the one innovating and helping other people shine, without bragging about it.
Out of NA Ame is my fav girl and I do love that she seems to be the one that gets things moving. Its a shame that due to time zones i had to stop watching her.

Ok, now that's genuinely based. I'm less mad about her now. Seems she's got her head on straight.
I was pro-Nina when people started talking shit about her due to her past and even though I hated the hell out of her "honey" crap she cut down on it drastically and I do love how she in great at interacting with everyone else. Good to see that her retarded past has not caught up to her and I have a feeling that it wont either. She seems smart enough to know that it will kill her fanbase if she starts that shit up.

I'm guessing that the talents were in as much a state of shock as the rest of us and corperate likely kept it all to themselves until they had all the pieces in place. Like us they needed time to process it too. Probably more so considering how serious the charges were leveled at Rushia.

jesus fuck im listening to the gura powerwash archive and shes talking about how she eats hot dogs completely cold/uncooked WTF is wrong with this wench? Every time I think she's getting healthier/smarter she just casually drops some shit like how she just ate a dozen donuts before hitting go live
