Right. Like man I have a soft spot for the helpless as much as any decent person but it is now to the point where if I see a dog or a kid in the clip, my emotions shut off. Other than deep irritation as the alarms go off: "this motherfucker is trying to manipulate you into something that benefits only him."
And blackmail you, because the moment you disagree with them, they'll whip that out as proof that you're heartless.

Seeing how Ukraine is still holding against Russia and how the west keeps dumping Javalins like they are skittles i have to wonder, do modern anti-armor rockets just completely outdate tank warfare?
Assuming both countries are capable of producing them like they are fucking candy i see no use in making a big billion dollar metal slug that's just gonna get blown to pieces by a rookie fresh out of training with a rocket in his pocket
Yeah this war is going to have some very interesting impacts on things. The first time two real peer forces have faced off in ages.

I wonder if the lack of big air strikes is also because the Ukrainian AA is way better than they anticipated.

So which team is winning right now? I’m utterly lost.
Ukraine is a loser, it won't exist soon anymore. Russia is a loser, they're going to have hemorrhages over the sanctions, not to mention the soul searching since this conflict was essentially brother killing brother. But the biggest loser? The West. They have weaponised finance as a last resort to get back at Ivan and have now virtually ensured that China and other BRICS will start avoiding making settlements with US dollars. That might spell the end of America's hegemony and usher in the multi-polar word decades sooner than anyone had anticipated.

Images from Lviv train station of people scrambling to get on trains to Poland. They are packed so full that many people have to leave their belongings behind.

Footage supposedly from the Ukrainian-Polish border:

Those suffering from TDS fail to understand human nature, which can be likened to a game in which participants optimize their gains in a non-cooperative environment while minimizing their losses; thus, they cannot grasp that choosing a leader that will ensure their (and their families) survival is the best choice as they are susceptible to fear and emotional manipulation.
keep kevetching for zion don I’m sure it’ll make him president again

Spoiler alert: they mold it to their whims. Russian financial leaders showing humility would be like a river flowing up a mountain, or the sun rising from the west and setting in the east. Not going to happen.
for a rigid status quo like that humility would be allowing for disrupting agents and like the equivalent of droping the soap on the prison shower. Those regimes are good are perpetuating themselves in power but not much else.

Do tanks from 1968 die against rockets from 1995? Yes, but as to tanks with ceramic armor this remains to be seen.

There's meaner things than Javelins anyway in terms of anti-armor capability.

Let them have their heroes, even if they are imaginary. All they have now is Stephan Bandera and not too many Ukranians actually like him. Its good that they have the Ghost of Kiev.

Its like Juba the Sniper for the Iraqis. Its cool. Its obviously overblown, but its alright..

Then agian, there's always this guy. Ukraines own Otto Skorzeny!

That's understating it, there are more Canadian and Australian dollars combined in global circulation than Chinese Renminbi.

They would be fully subservient to China if they were ever completely cut off from the west.
China's long term goal is to replace the USD$ as the reserve currency. Russia having to lean more on CIPS isn't great for them but its great for China.
Russia is a massive producer of oil, wheat, and other raw materials. You want access to those things your going to have to go through China's CIPS or what ever the hell the Indian one is going to be called.
