Probably, but at this point there's no way Russia loses, it could turn into a pyrrhic victory, which combined with the extreme economic damage from sanctions, could lead to that.

Again, if the EU and US made its own shit those sanctions would stick. America exported nearly all of its manufacturing abroad because it was 'cheaper'. American oligarchs like Paul Singer bankrupted entire towns (and nations!) and has never been sanctioned. Which is weird as he belongs to the GOP and not a single Bluetick on Twitter ever mentions him. If the US cared it would have dealt with him, brought back manufacturing, and made America energy independent. If Russia had no oil to sell it'd be fucked. If China's manufacturing supremacy was disrupted it would be FUCKED.

Europe and the US will be affected by these sanctions more than Russians will. Look at the price of gas. Now look at the price of food and fertilizer. It's gonna get bad, baby.

Lookslike the reason were seeing what we are seeing is the best Russian heavy units were assigned to the Crimean front, the spec ops/paratroopers to the Kee-yob attack, and the 2nd line units/peoples militias to the north east and east. So the good units break through in the south very convincingly and appear to be outrunning any attempts by Ukies to mount up a secondary defense and will probably run up the Dnieper cutting off all the Ukie forces currently engaged in brutal fighting with the 2nd line units.

The spec ops/paratroopers did the usual snake eater thing of mounting an unnecessarily high risk showy op that didn't work out like they hoped and resulted in high casualties.
