Convoy destroyed/abandoned near kharkiv. About 12 hours ago.

I also stumbled on some footage of a convoy destroyed near cherniv from the 24th, but I can't find it now. That one included BMP-2s knocked out, but very few trucks.
So at this point 6-8 destroyed/abandoned russian truck convoys?

I'm not sure what to think about these abandoned vehicles. Even though I suppose that they could be Russian vehicles that have either been knocked out or ran out of gas, I'm suspicious of the latter. The Russians have been doing a fairly okay job of prosecuting this war so far. If they're this incompetent as to send random convoys out with little fuel, why are they fairly confident everywhere else?

Even if they ran out of fuel, why are they abandoning the vehicles? They've got radios, I'm sure. Why not call in for support? It's all too weird.

Two possibilities here:

1.) The Russians really are this incompetent and are sending out convoys with no hope of return with little fuel. Perhaps they have little fuel near the front; which begs the question how they're so easily keeping up mass helicopter operations without end, but can't seem to fuel up a bunch of Ural and Gaz trucks.

2.) The 'Russian' vehicles are actually Ukrainian. I find this more likely, since fuel is already noted to be in short supply in Ukraine. Unless the Russians are holding them back in reserve, I would have expected to see greater use of the slightly newer BMP-3. The modernized versions provide quite a bit more protection than the by-now ancient BMP-2.

I also cannot recall seeing any of the newer T72 and T90 (essentially the same platform) tanks. We are, instead, seeing copious amounts of T80s and T72s of the same mid-90s vintage. I said earlier that the Russians had been wanting to get rid of the T80 for ages - it was a boondoggle for the Soviets when it was first released and ever since they mass-produced thousands of the fuckers, they still have them.

If this was a manner of holding back their cream armor, why are they flying Ka-52s and Mi-28s all over the place? I'm suspicious that Russia doesn't have the armor assets it claims to have.

Less funny when the American Empire uses this as a pretext to "see guises, there's totes support for us to intervene in this war".
As much fun as it would be to watch NATO kick Ruskie ass to finally conclusively prove the stronk memes wrong. It wouldn't solve anything. The Russian government would just move back to their side of the fence and rearm and retrain for the next go-round.

There is this whole loss of national pride thing they are trying to retake here. Kicking their teeth in, justifiably or not, doesn't make those feeling go away. They'll be back and be better prepared.

Them fighting their war the way they want on their terms and dealing with the fallout would likely go a long way in soothing the massive case of asshurt they have had since 1991.

holy shit the multiple attempts to gain headlines by making up shit is exceptional, get sympathy points instead of pretending you have a chance

Where the fuck are these magical Kievan/Kyivan super-soldiers coming from? First it was the "Ghost of Kiev", next it's the "Iron Man of Kyiv", now we're getting the "Ukrainian Reaper".

And why haven't any of their names leaked yet?

Also, what time is it in Ukraine? Cause if shit hadn't already happened, I think shit's about to go down even harder soon.

The Ukrainian disinfo seems to be predicated on the assumption that winning retard western Twitter support will help them win the war.

Doesn't seem like a winning strategy to me, if I may armchair-general for a moment.
They may be making the same miscalculation of many US companies and officials make. Twitter and the media feed off eachother but do not represent the majority opinions and general sentiment of the American public. On the other hand the Dems obsess over Twitter, so appealing to them isn't the worst idea if you want to encourage Biden to get more involved.

Have you heard of the White Death, Simo Häyhä, and his 505 kills with a rifle and over 200 with an SMG?

Yeah...
He will feature prominently in the hit manga "Record of Ragnarok," where he will presumably defeat a mythological deity such as Horus or Angela Merkel with his rifle, which will be a sexy anime lady turned into a firearm. I know this and now you have to know it too.

Yeah...
Yeah but he had the decency to physically exist and actually kill a lot of soviets. None of these Ukrainian forced heroes are even real or if they are they are just posing for a photo op. See: Miss Ukraine with airsoft gun

It has been biased so far in Ukraine's favor that I will agree. Russian forces going into Ukraine seem focused on operations security so they aren't posting much. I have observed active suppression of any pro-Russian videos on Reddit so that may also explain why there is not much stuff as well (people appear to be actively brigading against anything that pops up at least in Western dominated websites). I imagine there is some stuff on VK and Telegram though. Overall the narrative of the Ukrainian propaganda has been quite effective on some people as made by evident by what goes on in this place.
It makes sense that Ukie propaganda would be more effective in English, since the Western elite favours them.

It's like the entire Western elite thinks that Twitter is real life. What if there's no conspiracy and it's just them doing whatever Twitter tells them to do because of a stupid meme spread by a coffee table book?

Yeah... They have. And some do stick.
Or we can go the other way with Lyudmila Pavlichenko, some teenage girl that somehow had 309 confirmed kills and became a cold-blooded killer just because she saw another conscript get shot.

It's not the first time you've seen problems for fuel with the Russians.

But, you know, I was thinking...

It could be fractured command style, or fuel prioritization that went bad. The other thing is, the POL trucks and the fuel dump might not have been set up, either on purpose or because they jumped too early, and they rolled and hoped they could link up with a friendly unit providing POL.

Or, commanders at battalion or company level could have went "LOL, we have plenty of fuel..." and ordered their men to drive off. It wouldn't be the first time some dipshit lower officer fucked shit all up.

He could have put his less experienced, less loyal troops up in the region with the fuel problems and what we're seeing is arrogance, nepotism, and stupidity.

Or, they drove the trucks to where they were going, unassed them, and hoofed it to where they were going to dig in.

Let's run down what Ukraine has been doing the past few days
  1. Propping up false hero stories using vidya footage
    proxy-image.png
  2. E-begging on Twitter for donations from random people and Elon Musk (Probably was r/Ukraine's Idea)
    TheDSPNation.png
  3. Spreading old images of (((Volodymyr Zelenskyy))) in army outfits
    KindaOldIsntit.jpg

  4. Reporting huge numbers of Russians killed while Russians are barely reporting any statistics at all
Truth is dead. Both sides are utter liars and we are in full force disinformation warfare. Anyone who believes either side is 100% telling the truth is dumb cattle and hasn't been paying attention in class.

People still eat it, hook, line and sinker.

The average American is an idiot who thinks that there really are superheroes who can stop entire invasions on their own. These people can be milked for donations.

The Ukrainians, on the other hand, just want something to believe in. Something that tells them that they still have hope.

Crossposting this from the Atomwaffen thread:

The Hyphen-Report raises some alarm bells about James Mason supporting the Azov Battalion.

This appears to be part of a broader pattern where esoteric Hitlerists and NATO shills are using Telegram to recruit Nazis to pay Ukrainian oligarchs and fight for US backed forces. American Futurist has been putting out articles expressing support for Azov as early as January of this year:

American Futurist has even gone as far as to openly solicit their readership to join the Ukrainian military. Other adjacent organizations supporting this include the record label Militant Zone which has published records of NSBM bands Peste Noire and M8L8TH along with Runic Storm which is effectively Militant Zone's clothes store. Of note, Runic Storm is run by an operative in the Azov Battalion. On Telegram, they have openly solicited viewers to support them and send money to their bank accounts.

It is awfully suspicious that self-described dissidents would be fomenting the conflict between Russia and Ukraine for no apparent gain. It is one thing to express support for Ukraine as being a group of people with a distinct history. Many in WN circles would have few problems agreeing with it, but not when it involves dubious political interests.
