a better question would be why side with the state of Ukraine? Anyone who has watched politics in the 2010s knows that minor U.S. aligned Eastern European states love to rub their dicks all over Russia's face and point to the U.S. as to why Russia can't retaliate. I pity the people, but Pax Americana has basically created this ahistorical situation where smaller nations can act rude towards larger ones. Equal to the soyboys who will mess with you but the moment you give them a jab to shut them up, they scream for the police.

Just act cordial to neighboring states and none of this would have happened. That goes the same for other "good guy" nations like Israel who go out of their way to screw with others. In the good old days you used to be able to put up a fence and call it the line of death. When people fucked around, they found out. Now you're expected to be the "better man" as the manlet hops your fence and calls you a pussy.

Sometimes states and even people need a punch in the mouth so that they can shut up, Ukraine is getting just that. It's hard to feel sorry for Zelensky's Meme Regime.
