In the interest of discussing something interesting, how about them peace talks?

My take is that unless the Ukranians are both planning and capable of turning this into a never-ending guerilla war and spending the next 20 years playing fuck-fuck games with Russian troops until they get bored and fuck off, this may be the best negotiating hand they're going to get. I've made mention of my belief that Putin really doesn't want to make a mess in Kiev and throw away all his hard work to keep the civilian casualties low, and now that the city's encircled, he's on a timer in that regard before people start starving. The Russians are still advancing, particularly in the South, but they haven't grabbed enough land to make a credible claim for annexation or taking large swaths of the country, and Ukraine still has too many troops in the field for Putin to force demilitarization or a regime change.

If both parties are competent negotiators and manage to reach a settlement, then I'm expecting the release of the separatist-claimed territories along with a guarantee either that Ukraine will stay away from NATO or just outright neutrality, possibly balanced out by minor concessions from Russia like promises to not invade again and/or relief and reconstruction aid.

even uberfaggot with dead wife, kid and doggo will drop balls and likely spend the rest of its life haunting its russian bros.

the real problem is that most people here never experience a dramatic loss in their lives and think that it's something rational and Ukrainians will just rationally add two plus two and bend over.

If Putin did indeed conducted a blitzcrieg and took over Kyiv in the first 24h with capturing the airport and large VDV drop, West would be fine with it. They were if you were keeping attention in the first day of the invasion: laughable sanctions and 5000 used helmets.

At this point every Western country is trying to outdo the other to supply shit and attention whore about it. Time is NOT on Vlad's side.

Russia has literally run out of their precision missiles and pulling heavy artillery to bomb the same airports they were bombing on day one of the invasion. The retardation of this is beyond words.

The Rittenhouse thread was going at lightspeed during the trial but the jannies let it go and cleaned up during quiet times. There was a balance between post diarrhea and jannies doing janny things.

Lurk more.
Are you still crying about this? A replacement thread started almost immediately and continues today, and xenforo is known to be trash.
How Jewish of you guys.

How very very Jewish indeed. Look at how fast the ZOG entities scurry to protect their own.

I wonder what will be the final death toll of the moral panic about Russian "saboteurs" when this is all over.
Very high. Its one of the worst things the Ukrainian government has been doing. Every one of these stories simply creates more paranoia and panic
among their own soldiers and civilians. There is just no upside for them to be doing this. Properly speaking, this is what a Russian Psyop would be
TRYING to do to them.

lol wut

How is a direct, apt comparison where the United States nearly started nuclear war over military incursions into its sphere of influence to illustrate current Russian thinking "whataboutism"?
Because Ukrainian potato Slavs don’t have nukes.

Copeposting this hard is a really bad look. Go fight for Ukraine if you are diaspora and the russians are getting their ass handed. Ukrainian government is literally begging for volunteers.

Are there any non-pozzed Telegrams or news sources where I can read a Russian perspective in English?
No because he doesn't exist. I haven't seen a single Ukrainian MiG-29 in flight. Only definite Ukrainian fixed-wing I've seen in flight was an L-39 Albatros, which is a trainer. Flying trainers in combat against a modern army is a sign things are taking a turn for the worse.

I was kind of hoping to see dogfights, but I knew the chances were low because Putin demonstrated in 2008 that he knows how to bomb runways. If Desert Storm was an A+ for obliterating a much weaker enemy, right now Putin is getting a B-. Not a perfect, but he's passing.

I miss the days of spit-roasting ISIS from both sides with Vlad. My F-18s and F-15Es hitting from the south, and his Sukhois hitting from the north. Those Israeli plants didn't know what hit them.

The Islamic State was not a caliphate. It was the greatest snuff film ever made, and I played a part in it.

Magomed Tushayev, a Russian Chechen commander in Ukraine appears to be alive.

Nobody nearly started a nuclear war in 1962 except some high Soviet officers with their heads up their asses deciding to give Cuban officers authority to order the firing of Soviet tactical nukes if the US invaded without telling Kruschev, when Nikita found out he flipped his lid and asked if Soviet soldiers took orders from the Soviet Union or from Cuba. He got big mad over it.

Because if it wasn't ok for the us to do it then it isn't ok for russia to do it either, alternatively you could also say that the us was also right but then your whole argument makes no sense.

Some western governments are now encouraging their citizens to go fight in Ukraine. What in the foreign-ISIS fighters is going on?
This is what a war panic looks like. Everyone is losing their minds. Nobody is thinking at all rationally anymore. The media
has worked everyone into a frenzy and this is the result.

Can people start pretending to be from Ukraine, infiltrate social media and tell the internet to stop trying to make a real-life event match up with Marvel and other fictional characters? Tell them it's rayciss or something. It must feel pretty shitty to have your life upended and some tool online posts a Putin-as-Palpatine meme like it means something.

Picture it, you tell a friend your mom died, and their response is "Oh you know who else's mom died? Harry Potter!" and stand there beaming at you.
