Ukrainian Border Guards. While we do not have the whole story, this does not look good for PR.

So far, beating up "brown folx" has been fine if you're a Ukrainian. However, that can change at any time.

Indian students being beaten up at the border after attempting to cross to Poland:

>Find odd eastern euro country to leech off of.
>Eastern Europeans do the eastern European traditional activity of "pretty senseless war inspired by ancient Slav feuds that can only be resolved by genocide"
>Panic
>Demand special gibsmedats from border guys since every interaction with the host country has made you a priority so far.
>"No blyet, go to back of line like everyone"
>Start sitting protest like you saw BLM do on TV to get what they want.
>"Slav at war" has little patience for niggery or protests and gives you the boot so you stop blocking shit.

Just how against are ordinary Russians to this war? Is it enough to warrant an end to Putin/his position? Or are Russians too cucked to actually do anything major?

They almost certainly won't simply storm the city, they'll encircle it and make some of Ukraine's best forces completely moot while they sweep through the rest of the country.
Sweep where though? What good does it do them driving around the wheat fields burning fuel they don't have and getting shot at by irate farmers? They need to defeat the Ukrainian Army in being. The longer this drags on the greater chance it becomes a quagmire.

Putin has a national guard quivalent for dealing with dissent (Rosgvardiya), and the punishment for "treason" and "abetting the enemy" can earn you up to 20 years of imprisonment. Which they specifically pointed out in the news ealier today.

See protests in Belarus last year to see how much general population can do against a police state.

For what it's worth, the nuclear threat has everybody I know personally scared shitless, and the social networks are 50/50 doomposting and kittens/puppies to distract from doomposting.

Keep in mind the separatists they drove through - to get wherever they are - joining in with civvie vehicles.
Seps use red tape to denote their vehicles. The nonorussian T90 that was abandoned while ago had red tape but no "Z" marking.
