Germany can't do anything or take any military action to speak of for quiet obvious reasons. Spending money on the German military is a complete waste of time because
nobody is going to allow it to be deployed or take any actions. The whole thing is all for show and is kept on a tight leash by Washington. The head of the navy simply
offered an opinion about Ukraine at a conference in India not too long ago and the wrath of god came down from washington. He was quickly gone.

Western Europe needs energy to heat houses. Its all fine to sit somewhere else and say how easy it is to solve the problem. But if its not going to be natural gas from
Russia, the energy needs to come from somewhere. And windmills are not going to cut it.

Western Europe has an energy shortfall because of Energiewende closing down plants and soaking up all surplus capacity. NATO has a shortfall in deterrence and capabilities because the Bundeswehr is a shadow of it's former self. Russia is emboldened because of German politicians playing footsie with them for the last couple decades.

Germany is the problem here. Them being contrarian and pulling Europe in the opposite direction of the US is what is causing all of it's vulnerabilities. This has been quite openly talked about in their political sphere for a long time. Merkel's policies have been an unmitigated disaster in the long term.

Somebody jerking their chain and getting them to reverse course is what needs to happen here. Maybe this is what finally does it but I'm not holding out much hope.

Yeah, the media's really taking this "Russian disaster, they haven't capitulated Ukraine in 3 days!" narrative on the run. The Gulf War took almost six months in total and even Desert Storm with almost the entirety of NATO bearing down on Iraq with everything possible took a month to capitulate them. Ukraine in 2022 is stronger than Iraq was in 1990 and it's Russia on its own.

The democrats in the US House of Representatives attempted to make women eligible for the draft last fall. But it failed like all the rest of Biden's political agenda.

Women are not currently eligable for the draft based on a 1980 Supreme Court case that used the logic that they could not be drafted because (then) they were
not allowed in combat roles. Now that they are allowed to into combat roles, there would be a new case at the Supreme Court over the issue if a draft were
ever put into effect again.

But there will be no draft. The last thing the military needs or wants these days is a bunch of uneducated unmotivated retards who don't want to be in the

Occupy the rest of the country so that they don't need to fight over it inch by inch. Depending on how obstinate the Ukrainians are and how much Putin actually wants, simply encircling Kyiv and taking most of the rest of the country could be enough, no Grozny 2.0 needed.
