Reality certainly seemed to have several problems with that plan. Putin, too.

Playing chicken is lots of fun until someone actually drives their car off a cliff.

I didn't see this posted yet, but yeah, expect Biden to declare a win on COVID at the State of the Union and praise Democrats who did such a good job with lockdowns and mask mandates in spite of Republicans trying to kill grandmas. Note that everything in this research is basically when the right-wing has been saying for two years now, but it's okay because now they have a study.

On a side note, that fucking bitch Hochul declared four hours ago that school children won't have to wear masks anymore starting Wednesday. At least at the state level; I'm sure NYC will still require it because why not?

They think trump supports the invasion just because he called putin a genius. They're eager to start ww3 over the 2016 election afterall.

Their going to ignore that Florida has been doing good without restrictions. It really shows how desperate they are

According to her, she said "counties and cities could keep their own mandates in place, and parents could still choose to send their kids to school in masks.", meaning that even if the bitch said it's over, other places can still keep that shit, which is scary when you think about how there are still a fuck ton of people in NY (not just the city, but the entire state in general), especially parents, that actually still WANT the masks on their kids.

Also the black mayor said he's lifting the indoor vaccine mandate for restaurants, bars, and theaters in March, but I'm sure they will be wishy-washy with that as well.

she was always hated, 1980s hollywood was still pretty anti-woman, and unlike say Murphy Brown where Candace just read her lines and did what she was told Roseanne actually gave a fuck about the plots of the show and the characters and making the show more middle class, jews who liven their whole life in LA literally couldn't even imagine what people in flyover country talk or acted like, which is why guys like Tom Arnold and Norm Macdonald got brought in from the middle of the country. but in hollywood people that complain or criticize are hated, (which is why quality is so rare) so roseanne had the knives out for her almost immediately.

She was also an extremely common feature in tabloids, basically imagine if back in the 2000s Lindsay Lohan had the writing ability of Michael Schur, beyond that despite how much hollywood hated her, the numbers didn't lie. her show got more viewers than the other 3 networks combined some weeks.

Also a lot of what the left said in the 90s and 2000s was more about sticking it to evangelicals rather than it being a good idea, which is why they could so easily throw people like Marilyn Manson and JK Rowling to the wayside once it was clear they didn't have to worry about jesus freaks being able to stop their degeneracy. I mean its not like either of those were canceled for any real reason, people just took the stuff they wrote during the height of their careers and decided overnight that actually it wasn't cool but was offensive (but not like how the religious right claimed it was offensive but offensive for very woke reasons)
