If the US goes to war with Russia, the US can't also be a viable deterrent to China's territorial claims. If the US did try to fight on both fronts, it would be an even worse situation than what Germany found itself in during WW2 because the US economy can't just instantly cut all economic ties with China and continue to operate anywhere close to full strength. China is not retarded, and they know this.

Georgia less so. They already have the loyalty of Abkhazia and South Ossetia, plus Georgia has far fewer ethnic Russians as a percentage of their population than Kazakhstan.

We saw the Russian column stop and allow civilians to cut in front. Maybe they'll kindly stop and show papers at every checkpoint, delaying them considerably.

Roadblocks are speedbumps. The mechanized column must shoot the road block, and that'll ruin any hope of surprise.

I disagree. US has tons of stuff already staged in the Pacific and have several established bases. This isn't a situation where they would have to refocus forces and wait weeks or months. The stuff is already there for deployment.

Reminder we're still yet to see wreckage of those IL-76s they shot down, on their way to launch unsupported paradrops deep behind enemy lines that were being annihilated by ukrainian forces as soon as they landed for which we have also seen no evidence
