-Saber rattles about joining NATO continuously knowing it upsets Russia
-Demands to be let into EU in the middle of an ongoing war with Russia knowing that it will upset them

-Releases dangerous criminals to help the war effort
-Invites people from wherever the fuck to help fight (this is a great way to get some bad people with bad intentions into the country)

To be fair even Rhodesia invited foreign volunteers when the going got tough. Unfortunately, they were a landlocked country with crippling sanctions so it didn't save them. It does make me wonder if there's a connection between the fall of Rhodesia and the rise in far-right movements in the 80's. The peace talks are going on because of military reasons, the actual meeting is just posturing. Ukraine has more time for support to come in and spin a news cycle to further sanction Russia. Russia needs time to reposition and link up its southern and eastern armies around Mariupol.
