It's an area of about 35 by 35km (ca 20 by 20 miles) with a population of nearly 3 million people.

As an unpaid shill for the Kremlin I based much of my predictions on an early Ukrainian collapse on the early Russian information which implied destruction of airfields and a mass advance. Instead missile attacks were light and incomplete and Putin held off most of his troops and has only now, four days in, actually begun hitting Kharkov and still lightly as if there was a Syria-tier bombardment you'd have the dead plastered all over Ukrainian media instead of asspain about a warehouse.

That Russia hasn't used any of the bombs, missiles or drones they've used in Syria in much larger numbers than they would at this front they're commiting a lot more to is inarguable. As is that from the misposted article that they expected more progress. You can debate whether it's because Jewtin drank his own kool-aid and figured the Ukrainians would just fold and is getting dicked for it or because he's deliberately holding back to avoid civilians. Personally I think it's a bit of both.

Unconfirmed and highly doubt: in Berlin they are rumours that one of Russians from their embassy was robbed and beaten in context of being Russian. TBH I don't belive that.

How much imagination would it take to get the EU to accept that Ukraine meets the financial and economic
standards required to join the European Union?
