The US military doesn't use a single camouflage either. Every branch has at least 1 unique camouflage only they use, and smaller or special-purpose units in the US military use whatever they want.
Same goes for Russia. Many units will pick a camouflage and stick with it, smaller/special purpose units use whatever they want (to a degree). These guys may be recon, based on the camo and gear.
Russia's equipment uniformity is a complete mess. It's not as bad as it used to be in the nineties but they use all sorts of different camo just like they have all sorts of different vehicles, because they can't afford a complete replacement while keeping up their numbers. Different models of helmet, camo, even vests, isn't that uncommon.
Of course, if you think Russia's uniforms are a mess, just look at the Ukrainians. Sometimes the only good way to tell who the fuck they are is that they've got Multicam on.

"14 Heartbreaking Videos Of Russian Soldiers That Will Make You Say "Fuck Having National Sovereignty And Shiet"
Is this the level of cope we're at now in the thread?
Or maybe 99% of the world's population doesn't agree with a pointless war? Socking, I know, for /pol/ neet.
I don't support either side. The bluecheck marks and their legions saying the most outrageous and easily provably false bs this entire week just makes my stomach turn. The "Ghost Of Kyiv" is just like the avengers bro : )

Like most of you, I believe that the causes of this war are mostly geopolitical. Putin wants to stop NATO expansion, he wants access to the natural gas that Ukraine has recently discovered in its borders. But I just couldn't stop thinking about what he said to the Ukrainian soldiers...
"Take power into your own hands. It will be easier to come to terms with you than with this gang of drug addicts and neo-Nazis" he said, in reference to the government of Ukraine. The Western press dismissed this as a bizarre outburst. They said it was an unhinged lie.
Naturally, I realized immediately that what he was saying was at least partially true and that he was talking about specific people or groups in power in the Ukraine. They wouldn't have dismissed it so quickly otherwise.
The drug addict stuff I can't find. Hopefully, someone else can fill us in on this. It didn't take long to find what many others in this thread are already familiar with... the Azov Battalion and their horrific crimes in the Donbass. I would compare the things I have found about them to be similar in character to ISIS videos and trust me... I watched far too many ISIS videos. I was working in the Middle East when they were at their height. The Azov Battalion has shaken me far more though.
The Azov boys terrorised the Donbass. They beat and murdered people, raped them. But the video I saw that I will never forget... They crucified a civilian for aiding the separatists. Another person posted the video earlier in the thread but I can't find their post, so here it is again.
They nailed that man to a cross and as far as the Russian people are concerned they did it because he was Russian. And where is the international outrage? Where are the hashtags? Where is the George Floyd treatment? When people were being killed this cruelly by ISIS it was a global topic, but when it happens to a Russian civilian apparently no one cares. This video hasn't been spread widely in the West, but apparently it is well known in Russia.
How do you think they feel about that? I know how I would feel. How do you think they feel about the 2014 Odessa Massacre, where dozens of Russians were herded into a building and burned alive?
I am not joking. That happened. And why am I just learning about this now?
The grievances of the Russian people with the Ukrainian government are huge and anyone who thinks that they are unwilling to go through the hardships of sanctions for justice for their cousins in the Donbass is mistaken. Anyone who thinks the majority of Russians will turn on Putin over this is smoking the bad crack and anyone who thinks they care what the hypocritical West has to say may as well shit in their hands and eat it.
I don't want war. I don't want to see innocent Ukrainians suffer but I'm sick of being fucking lied to. Why tell us that Putin is insane and unhinged when he and his people have real grievances? Why spend billions educating us just to lie to us?
But the thing that really gets me... the thing that truly drives me up the wall is the fact that if you don't rate this post informative your mother will die in her sleep tonight.
EDIT: The drug addict is probably Hunter Biden. Obviously.

Imagine handing out AK-47s to your civilian population after spending 3 days fighting the cannon fodder. If Russia is holding their most capable men back, it's gonna be really bad for the Ukrainians who survived the first wave.
Are they hoping to have Europe open up more to Ukraine for work and business opportunities if the Zelensky government wins.? Do they hate Russia so bad they are willing to die fighting them?
The former for most, the latter for some, for a few both. The west of Ukraine that was a part of Poland and Austria-Hungary is far more Anti-Russian then everywhere else.
It's a complicated world. In some threads here many of us are called Trumptards, in others we're labeled Q-Anon loons for not believing the Covid nonsense the govt (the world) has been shoving down our throats for 2 years. But in here, taking the side of basic decency - that war should be avoided at all costs - somehow makes us tranny loving globalist stooges.
I just thought of something. You know how people are saying "it's just like the Cuban Missile crisis, ermagerd. Putin is totally justified because grave security risk. etc etc"
The US didn't invade Cuba because of that. I know what you are thinking, and no, the Bay of Pigs was before. They engaged the USSR and got the missiles removed in a deal that also removed missiles from Europe. No war. No invasion.
Video of what I guess are Ukrainian civilians attacking a Russian column with what I assume to be a molotov cocktail. You may notice in the last few seconds they set their own vehicle on fire. View attachment 3028260
