And the thing is already out of service being towed by a tractor. The whole thing is a setup for UPVOTES.

It's not nice to besmirch the brave actions of the feared Firebomber of Kiev like this. Please remove your post.

While I may not be as educated in things like this coming to this thread and keeping up with it has informed me of so much more than the media or my education ever could've regarding things like this. Its sad and sickening the things that are tossed away/ignored by media/covered up and for what reason? Fuck if I know.
I don't agree with Russia armies killing people but I know that if I hadn't have come to this thread then I would be siding with the media unknowing of what Ukraine has done to at least antagonize Putin.
Thank you for all your hard work. I'm going to go read up on some other stuff mentioned in this post as I have been doing with a majority of this thread.
Semper fi to you all :semperfidelis:
No, you're still being lied to. You're just being lied to by /pol/ tier shitposting as well as Rachel Maddow flapping her useless fucking suck-hole. The Ukrainians are guilty of nothing more than wanting to not be tied to the boat anchor that is Russia's economic bloc and to trade peaceably with the larger international community. Their application to NATO was rejected around the 2008-2009 time frame and it was their intention to join the EU, rather. That puts them into a larger community that doesn't allow the Russians to bully them into submission.

The idea that NATO was going to invade them is laughable on it's face. Only the US and Poland even meet their obligations and during the air war over Libya, we had to resupply them because their arms stockpiles are so low. The idea that the Ukraine, a poorer country than Russia was going to invade them is laughable on it's face. As for former Warsaw pact countries joining the EU or NATO? The former Baltic states and Poland, Hungary and Czechoslovakia all ran towards NATO in the nineties before Vladimir Putin was in office, even the first time around though the Baltics didn't make it in until 2004.

And you know who didn't have a problem with it? The pre-2008 Vladimir Putin who was our collaborator in the GWoT. Now he wants his toys back and when one of those toys doesn't want to go back into the box, he's trying to break it.

Leverage over Russia is an existential threat to Russia :story:

Jesus Russia really is a bunch of needle dicked little pansies
NATO having the leverage of Nukes a five minute flight from Moscow is an existential threat to Russia because at that point the west can get them to do whatever they want. It would be a perpetual Sword of Damocles over Russia's head. You really are just a retarded midwit if you can't understand why they would be a massive problem for Russia.

Neither are the bribes to get your family members consulting jobs in the Ukrainian gas industry.

If pro-intervention peeps want to use that platitude - fine. Probably best not to use *that* one if you are Ukrainian. You are literally asking other people to pay for your freedom. Just such a contradiction.

1) you didn't miss a single thing, king cannot write and the decade of hype he enjoyed in the 80's came from Brian DePalma. I say this as a man who is bitter about wasting his edgy teen years reading the Dark Tower slogfest and all the other popular trash.

2) he wrote a several paragraphs-long sex scene between the children protagonists in It, taking place in the monster's lair to cement their bonds are forever friends or some such dumbshit excuse--the 11yo girl getting fucked even had the clarity of mind to mentally comment on the dick size of each lad, which is what normal little girls do when being fucked by their friends in a spider alien's lair. The man is a kid diddler and even the frauds at RLM called him out on it.
Did not know that. I learned something today.

You know what's funny about this thread? In reading it, I think I actually might have learned more about various subjects OTHER than what the fuck is going on in Ukraine.

I think he got into a car wreck in the late 90s and was never the same afterwards.
No, he was walking down a road (in Maine, naturally), and got hit by a van.

"I gotta invade China, Philippines, Syria, Korea, Iran, Guatemala, Tibet, Indonesia, Lebanon, Cuba, Democratic Congo, Dominican Republic, Vietnam, Brazil, Republic of Congo, Guatemala, Laos, Dominican Republic, Peru, Greece, Guatemala, Cambodia, Chile, Argentina, Angola, Turkey, Poland, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Cambodia, Lebanon, Grenade, Libya, Philippines, Panama, Iraq, Kuwait, Somalia, Iraq, Bosnia, Iraq, Sudan, Afghanistan, Serbia, Afghanistan, Iraq, Somalia, Iran, Libya, and Bolivia" to protect my country!
YES!
Because it is in our national interest to open up those markets and get the McDonalds in there. (This is partly a shit post)

But the answer is something that @HumanHive mentioned how the US has taken over the British role of globe trade protector and so unironically, yes, it is 100% in our national interest. The US-built a market empire after ww2 because we were the factory of the world at the end of it, taking down anyone that threatens it is 100% in our national interest.
That was many years before. And we didn't care when he did it. As well, the chemical weapons were world war I kind of stuff. Mostly
mustard gas. It was about as low-tech and cheap as possible.
Yea the WMD was bullshit but chemical weapons were partly true is what I was saying.
