So are helicopters, and yet the military still uses them.

This isn’t a video game. Everything can get destroyed by something. There are no invulnerable tanks or planes. The Warthog is good at CAS, that’s its role.
And SEAD comes in before they start operating. Or at least should, if the people tasking them are even mildly competent.
The security booth had like 5 metal ammo crates that, when you broke them open, filled the entire booth up with 5.45 and other useful ammo. Come on man.
I kind of recall that. So many weird memories of that game. Guess I get to play it in real life shortly.

I suspect the division of Ukrainian territory is already being discussed in back-channels and we’ll find out about it soon when the “solution” is revealed to the world - coincidentally giving Putin what he wanted but leaving a rump-Ukraine for the EU to claim victory over. Let’s see if the EU countries take a bite “to protect” b
The solution is obvious. Its the same Solution as Finlands Winter war. Give up some border territory and call it a day. Ukraine has already lost Crimea and Luhansk and its not getting them back. It costs them nothing to just "give" them to Russia in exchange for peace. The problem is that is not what Putin is asking for right now. He's demanding Ukraine be demilitarized, which would effectively make the country his bitch. Considering the fact that he's waging war on them right now, the one the Ukrainians can never agree too is being disarmed.

Am I a pussy for trying to duck and dodge through pictures and videos from the war zone being posted as I flick through the highlights? Probably, but I genuinely don't think I'm mentally strong enough to see real people dying and still be okay for the rest of the day. I need to go cuddle my dog.
Yes, but that's only because you're still normal. You should hold onto that

They’re apparently being pretty effectively disarmed as we speak …

Now if only they could work on calming the masses down about going in because “my poor heckin Ukrainerinos.” I still feel bad for the people caught in the crossfire, but it’s being over-exaggerated by the usual suspects.
I just urned on the TV for the first time in a long time.
The propaganda is astounding.
The cross network talking point is
"This isn't going as Putin expceted"

Have to say though I'm not surprised arch-moron Ursula Van Der Layen failed to ask first before volunteering other countries fighter planes to Ukraine or check whether European banks might be affected if they could no longer receive repayments for the money they lent to Russia

Those drones aren't small though. They basically have the same size and radar profile as a Cesna. Since drones have yet to be used against a western nation I can't say for certain, but I suspect that Soviet era AA is not as good as some seem to believe.
A cesna is still tiny compared to most aircraft, though the military analyst's take posted earlier hints that a proper air defense network might have been completely neglected in being set up too.
I suspect that against a modern western air force we might get a repeat of the slaughter that was the sky over the Levant during the Yom Kippur war
Considering that western air superiority is enforced near wholly by fighters and air patrol, which is far better at removing any opposition than having to sit and wait for them to come into range, I'm inclined to agree. Ground based air defense has always failed to serve as an effective shield all by itself, even if it's capable of causing damage and dissuading attacks.

Nah mate, that should be the normal response.

Then you have freaks like me who see the “NSFW” tag and think “meh, what’s there to lose? I’ve seen all this shit before.”

It has been claimed that this video shows a Ukrainian civilian walking around in a Russian outpost around Sumy that was just completely abandoned with all the vehicles and equipment left there, for some reason. Obviously I am very skeptical of this claim, but there is something interesting...

It's a white Z, which would fit with it being a Russian vehicle, but I've never seen it painted inside a red hexagon before. There's a black 2 painted over it as well, which I've also not seen before.
Belarus is the red team.

The banks are the ones who pushed most heavily for this gay monetary union. They can sleep in the bed they made.

The best anti air has always been blow em up before they take off.

It will not even come to a fight in the air. They will quickly destroy their air defense and communication infrastructure from a distance. And then after that any fighter that takes off would
be doomed. The Soviet era AA is good for what it is, but the US has become exceptionally good at taking out AA systems from a distance while putting no lives at risk.
And the soviet fighters are no longer competitive with what the US can bring onto the battlefield even if (unlikely) it did come to fighter to fighter combat.

The military already has satellite data options.

Those networks aren't comprised of thousands of satellites though.

Any signal sent via orbit can be tracked back to the source easily so the only realistic countermeasure is redundancy if things ever got hot enough that anti-satellite weapons come into play.

Poland needs time to determine what the most prideful and retarded decision would be before they commit to it
