Even if their night vision is awful, they should be operating through civil twilight. And naturally they'd be more concerned about the light and weather in Ukraine than in Russia.
Night can be for maneuvering if your night vision isn’t that great. Or fortifying positions. Or even sleeping.

ATTENTION THREAD TOURISTS

Nothing will happen when the sun is down in Russia. Sunrise, like in most of the northern hemisphere is around 6 AM and sunset is around 6 PM. That means happenings will proceed between 10 PM Eastern Standard Time and 10 AM Eastern Standard time.

Stop asking.

(please react so we can make this a highlight)

Not sure if this is from the War in Ukraine but a good material from Russian Pol
I respect that human suffering is bad and stuff
but the way every clip from this looks like some sort of Trailer Park Boys The Movie - It's War! will never stop making me laugh

You do know the Iraqi army was one of the largest in the world and was using relatively advanced weapons. Russia is still using those weapons it seems.
No, it's not. The weapons systems Russia has now are way more advanced than what Iraq had in '91. Iraq bought a of shit (mainly from the SU and France), but even at the time it was inferior to the best stuff the Soviet Union had. Russia also has "export models" of certain things. Like a lot of countries. Iraqi T-72s were judged to be vastly inferior to genuine Russian ones.

Your people are more used to giving flowers to Nazis, and treating Nazi collaborators as national heroes, so the fact that they aren't doing that is just proof that everything being said about denazifying your country is correct.

Checkmate! :neckbeard:
I am surprised that non of the mainstream news outlets here have mentioned that Zelensky was in cahoots with Nazis though I guess I should not be surprised.

Just a couple dudes standing casually filming from 30 meters away right in front of a tank and an MRAP, which do not move or do anything to react to their presence.

Really convinced me that this footage is of actual real combat and not a staged photo op with an abandoned tank.

Another person is suggesting the US do gayops against Russia

No "likely" about it, we could hurl nukes at it no problem. It's more what that'll set off that we're concerned about. There's no real calculation or dilemma here, aside from the obvious problem established since the end of World War 2.
Apparently Greg Gutfelds wife is Ukrainian and the dude was legit torn up.

Power level time, I have several wonderful Ukrainian friends. One of them is currently trapped in Kyiv as we speak. She's not scared, she's defiant and angry, and agree with her or disagree with her, her courage is inspirational and I wish there was more I could do help her. This has been enormously difficult for me to write about and follow as a result.

That being said, I still acknowledge that I'm not willing to risk nuclear war over Ukraine, and I don't think anybody suggesting it understands the full implications of what they're asking for. Sending over support, economic sanctions, helping refugees, sure, within reason. A no-fly zone or declaration of war? No. It's good to want to help, but that'll just lead to Ukraine being destroyed alongside the rest of us.

Totally reminds me of "Catch-22' and the part about a guy who paid the enemy to bomb his airbase but then he showed how much he's earned and assured everyone that 'everyone gets a share'.
Actually he wasn't even doing it for money (directly, at least) - Minderbinder was pulling that bullshit about "everybody getting a share" early in the book (and it's a pretty damning moment later in the book where Yossarian is trying to get the med kid open to tend to the wounded tail gunner, except there's nothing in the med kit but one of those damn "shares" because guess who sold the contents of the med kit).

What happens is Minderbinder fucks up his elaborate international commerce network by getting saddled with a shitload of egyptian cotton nobody wants. Him bombing the base and effectively getting his own compatriots killed in the process is so the Nazis will take it off his hands.

Apologies for the off topic posting autism, but I love Catch-22.

Given they were standing right in front of the tank with their cameras out I doubt anyone was in it so no human suffering to feel guilty about!
