Its been confirmed in the media.

This is something the entire Slapfight here and on the world stage is missing. The position of Ukraine. A country that just few days ago was going about its business and now has to deal with the sound of air raid sirens screaming.
No one in the internet slapfight actually gives a shit about Ukraine. They're just superimposing their own political beliefs onto their preferred side. That's why Putin is totally based and fighting globohomo and the Ukrainians are heccing valid warriors for democracy and secular western culture.

And ACR. And SPIW.

But no, it's totally gonna happen this time, guys.
It ain't perfect, by any stretch of the imagination, but Eugene Stoner made something that works "good enough" to be the standard issue weapon. That is to say, the thing you're gonna buy the most of, and give to most of your troops. That's basically what I glean from all these retarded replacement programs for the M16/M4 that go absolutely nowhere.

So did Mikhail Kalashnikov, for that matter.

On the whole, advancements in small arms design have actually slowed down a lot because there's not much more you can do without needlessly complicating shit and causing more problems than you solve. I'm pretty sure Gun Jesus himself (Ian Mccollum) has said this numerous times.

The competition isn't even done yet.

The US military has been playing this game for sixty years now - I'll believe the AR platform is being replaced once it actually happens and not a second before.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

So what the fuck is up with that? Is he that terrified of being assassinated? Or just that paranoid about catching covid or something?
I think its covid. The dude is 70 years old and the SputnikV vax is prob useless against the current strains...or any strain.

Right before covid became real he was out around people doing crap like playing hockey and other nonsense to show off how manly he is.
