I legitimately fucking tried to find the source. It's from an old stream that had Venti on it right?

That works too.

EDIT: Dumb, gay and late. Fuck.

DOUBLE-EDIT: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KpglbkERKSc&t=415s
That's a good one, but I distinctly remember seeing one where Jim says "none of you are my friends" or something like that. Ralph chuckles at this, then he's like "but we're friends, right Jim?" And Jim replies "NO." There's a similar clip from Kumite, but Ralph isn't on that one.

Give this a whirl, KAP

The guy fell apart in a liquor-fueled "argument" with someone he looked up to and claimed to have known, as a friend, for many years. If you ignore all the despicably retarded antics he's gotten himself into since starting his stream you could almost pity him; not totally, because you'd have to forget his pre-Killstream sperging too. Then his Gamergate shit. And then the prisontime for swinging at a female cop. And then hanging a dog.

Yeah, no, I can't pity this fatass. He argues like a white girl and has gotten three of his enemies a shitload of superchat money for one drunken stream appearance.

That's another good "no friends" speech, but that's not the one I'm remembering. I remember he said this to Ralph. And it was funny because rejected Ralph's offer of friendship specifically. It's very similar to this clip with Failure, around 50:05:
I saw it on this board. As I recall, it was a popular post. I don't think I'm confusing it with the clip above, but I suppose it's a possibility. Maybe it got Berenstained.

I feel like I'm kind of shitting up the thread but here's one other "no Internet friends" speech.

EDIT: I know that wasn't the clip you're talking about but at least it's something.

Oh that court case about someone trying to kidnap my horse? Let me just go on the record and say we were never worried for her personal safety.
Epic gunt style
dont forget he used a homophobic slur

i think youre mistaking it for the one jim referenced and is often clipped where venti says "but lets be real we are all friends here" referencing what she felt was a denied but de facto true friendship among the ibs circle, everyone agreed except jim who piped up "uh no" but it was to venti not ralph i think ralph pretended that he understood until the jim stream recently.

It's close enough, if anything I like Taylor's re-enactment of it, due in part to how he empathized the whole were not friends part. I've only gotten into this circle of the internet post IBS, and from the bits and pieces I've seen, I more then understand Jim's sentiments in adamantly refusing to be friends with any of these people. It's fun to swing by the trailer park and watch shenanigans with the folks there, but by the end of the day you're there to just hang out cause it's fun, not cause you live there.

Hell, I got a hint that Jim opened up to Ralph a bit regarding his whole cancer ordeal if just to bait his drunk ass into seeing if he really gave a shit or if he was just going to make fun of him, but Ralph was clearly too drunk to give a fuck ether way by that point. I'm inclined to think that while Metokur doesn't care if people mock his cancer ordeal, I think for him it's a coping mech to see if folks say something that's actually funny cause laughter is the best medicine and shit, but also to see if people actually care or not, and Ralph falls directly into the former.

It’s not “opening up” to tell someone that undergoing relentless treatment and testing for literal cancer is a pretty fucking good reason not to want randos coughing in your face. It’s simply pointing out the goddamn obvious. Jim wasn’t getting theatrical; he was very straightforward, which made Ralph’s pants-shitting stupidity even more glaring.

It was also extremely heartless because it came across on Ralph's part as very vindictive and petty. That and his usual line of "I'll piss on your grave" is incredibly childish as well. What this demonstrates is a sign of his ego and self-centered nature but then again we all are all very aware of this. This forum has often speculated about Warski or Mundane Matt having a redemption arc. Shit, to further that I think some extended it to Kraut and Tea. With Ralph, I think there honestly is none and never will be.

If it wasn't for PPP doing the Ronnie Ralph interviews and placing Ronnie at the front of people's minds, would Jim have referenced Ronnie here?

Would the song "Total eclipse of the Shart" have featured Ronnie so prominently?

I suspect the answer is "No" to both those questions.

There can be no doubt that the Big Dawg has really been a thorn in the side of the Gunt.

Ralph can only make superchat money for his enemies, because any current friends he has will eventually become his enemies, and also he himself is his own enemy.

I still think Jim took it easy on Ralph by just rehashing the recent drama. Think how much material is in the last two years of Ralph’s cavalcade of hilariously bad decisions and ruination of his own life.

Jim was being a gentleman imo. The only life ruination Ralph has ever succeeded at is his own.

Right. Ralph also whined about Jim not caring he was in the hospital, after wishing death many times upon him. How fucking narcissistic and oblivious do you have to be to whine about being in the hospital to a guy who has undergone treatment for cancer for the past two years? It’s not like Ralph was even in the hospital due to some terrible misfortune or accident, just his own epic stupidity.

Yet Ralph carried own like a butt hurt Jr High girl that Jim didn’t care Ralph was in a hospital bed, days after writing a 10,000 word essay trying to mock a guy with no immune system for being worried about covid.

I think Ralph is jealous that Jim’s life is actually mostly private and he’s maintained his dignity. Ralph is so desperate to prove he’s not a broke ass piece of lowly white trash, but he’s spent the last two years documenting exactly that in excruciating detail serving up every bad decision and retarded personal life debacle to the internet. Meanwhile Jim’s e-cred remains sterling and he’s widely admired.

Ralph’s jealously and envy at Jim firing up a stream, and 10,000 plus viewers instantly appearing and making the super chat money printer go burrrr, is infinite.

Accurate. I also think that Ralph really does see Jim — consciously or not — as at the very least a big brother figure, if not a father figure. I think he’s angry at himself for ever valuing Jim as a person in his life, but not as angry as he is at Jim for not being the defender and rescuer he expected.

Ralph could have really benefited from having a mature and stable older brother to look up to. While he was provided for in terms of survival basics, I do not think his parents were remotely equipped to meet a child’s emotional needs. So Ralph is forever five, desperate for someone to notice him, praise him, and take him under their wing. It never happened, but Jim’s tacit endorsement might be the closest Ralph ever got. Of course he’s devastated to learn it really was all in his imagination.

I spent a couple of hours looking for it without success, but I'm 99% sure this does exist and I heard when I was going over old stuff in the summer. I recall it being pretty much like that, although maybe Ralph was more "well, maybe not friends but come on, we're close." I also remember that then Gator (could have been Zidan, but I don't think so) goes "well for most people that's true, but the three of us have known each other so long that we are REAL friends, not INTERNET friends," which is pretty funny in hindsight.
I want to say it was a show with a "bigger" guest like Keem or Dick, but don't quote me on that.

It does

It exists for sure, he says that this is the Internet, none of us know one another, let's not pretend to be friends, it's pointless look what happens to Internet friends time and time again. That's the gist of it.
