Haha, I didn’t mean I literally knew it was fake. I’m just very sure it was fake. Because he never mentioned it again. And the fact that some angry Japanese cult member was gonna give him an aneurysm over some weird lost kids PC game. It’s just, anyone with half a brain could figure Max was bullshitting for drama.

their goal was to get his actual location, the game was an excuse to get him to join a discord where they would find him (APPARENTLY) after he mocked them in his kamikuishiki no monogatari video (a game mocking the cult and their leader, made by friends of the guy behind Hong Kong 97).

I know the bit about the Kamikuishiki no Monogatari, I didn’t remember the discord bit lol. But I don’t see why a Japanese cult member would use Rolypolys no Nanakorobi Yaoki of all things to try and trick some YouTube fuckboy into giving his location. Last time I checked, Westerners cared more about Osamu Sato’s work than actual Japanese people, nevertheless Japanese cultists. Just totally bizarre.

gotta figure out how to get it to work under Western PC's/modern systems, therefore gotta join discords for the game to get the required info. At least, that's Max's reasoning

I dunno about you, but he seems prime lolcow material. Though I don't think a lot of people would find "edgy pedo-hunter who wastes hours of his life exposing like three random sex offenders in an over-the-top youtube video" entertaining. He likes to overshare on the internet, so he is showing signs of being one at least.

Georg Rockall-Schmidt usually does film analysis and comedy, but he's been doing more documentaries lately. He does a lot of white collar criminal cases and gives a good summary of the financial background of them all without it getting bogged down.

He has a pretty good series on the Sacklers and the opioid epidemic:

New Wendigoon video on the USS Indianapolis sinking in WW2. Awesome to hear him say he plans on doing more WW2 videos, there's so many interesting stories from that war.

Also the the thought of having dozens of sharks constantly swimming below you and biting your legs to see if you're alive is absolutely terrifying.
