If these were videos of American tanks and soliders being killed in goofy fuckups you'd decry any downplaying as propaganda.

I have no idea if this new system is ready to roll out now, or when, but it would insulate the Sino-Russian alliance from a lot of the Western financial chicanery, and could potentially deal a death blow to the West if widely adopted, i.e. if the USD lost status as global trade currency. We'll probably find out how well Russia is actually doing 5-10 years after this war is well and truly over, in books only war otakus will read. I'm looking forward to reading them, myself. If those were videos of American forces, it would NEVER see the light of day in the American mainstream media. Every military and every war is full of stuff like that. But no American
equipment ever got stolen in Iraq. The Afghan National Army never had Taliban serving in it. No convoy got fucked in Iraq. We never paid big money to Iraqis to "help" the US
military who were fully on the other side. Nobody ever got led into an ambush.

Just a few months ago, the United States went through one of its greatest and most embarassing humiliations in our history in Afghanistan. We dealt with total military failure,
humiliation, people lying about the situation, incompetence and so on by just moving on like it had never happened at all.
