equipment ever got stolen in Iraq. The Afghan National Army never had Taliban serving in it. No convoy got fucked in Iraq. We never paid big money to Iraqis to "help" the US
military who were fully on the other side. Nobody ever got led into an ambush.

Just a few months ago, the United States went through one of its greatest and most embarassing humiliations in our history in Afghanistan. We dealt with total military failure,
humiliation, people lying about the situation, incompetence and so on by just moving on like it had never happened at all.

This is a T-90, and I've seen footage of Russian tanks driving about, but I've been wondering where the Ukrainian tanks are. I've been off and on actually viewing all the footage coming out, but Ukraine has a lot of tanks, and not middle-east tier hunks of fossilized shit straight out of Desert Storm either. Of course, they're not going to be broadcasting where their armor battalions are so that Gopnik Georgiy can call in helicopters and Frogfoots to come in and obliterate them, but it makes me wonder if they're saving them for something or if they're around but nobody's gone and recorded them.

They gave up those nukes in the 1990s as the US convinced them to do so in order for eastern Ukraine not to break off.

The US didn't face much resistance in the initial Iraq war invasion. Most of the military had collapsed, defected, or went into exile. Second it's a lot easier to fight in the desert and take out equipment when you have complete air surpremacy. Russia doesn't have that sadly and it wants to encircle and cut off the cities. On a tactical level it works but at a strategic level there's a good chance WW3™ finally kicks off and it's a clusterfuck from there.

The project is unfinished. Germany ditched the idea of putting a pipeline into service which was incomplete and under construction.

I would not be shocked in the least to discover that construction on Nordstream 2 is continuing in spite of the German decision.

Dude we have videos of Russian tanks being isolated, not working in proper tank platoons, equipment being captured by civilians and soft convoys of trucks driving unescorted in the countryside. If these were videos of American tanks and soliders being killed in goofy fuckups you'd decry any downplaying as propaganda.
