Alright. Finally caught up with all this after several days without a fucking internet connection. This thread is where I usually keep in touch with the happenings in the Vtuber world. And several days without the internet makes me feel like some hermit cut off from all civilization. Glad to be back.

I'm just gonna throw my two centavos over here but it's funny how COVER managed to recruit a talent that became one of their biggest cashcows which ended up becoming a liability. That's a fuckup of the highest order considering a company of their size. But then again, there's the CN branch getting axed and some other talents getting graduated because of trivial reasons. I guess it's just another work week for them.

And speaking of fuckups, an incident of that scale is bound to warrant or even guarantee some changes in the company. I wonder how they'll try to reduce the risk of an incident similar to this from ever happening again. Or maybe they'll try making plans to circumvent something like this in the future. Maybe I'm just naive.

what dose it say about you when you can be a better whore than a women?

Talking about Rushinenko and her menhera condition:

Brain Factors. Studies show that people with borderline personality disorder can have structural and functional changes in the brain especially in the areas that control impulses and emotional regulation. But is it not clear whether these changes are risk factors for the disorder, or caused by the disorder.

So the guy unprivated some of his videos so I can reiterate something I mentioned before.

Suicide baiting is bad (even though I disagree that she's doing that in the video, at least seriously) and taking pictures of yourself stepping on a cicada is weird. But if a channel like that regurgitates those two things in multiple videos like that. You would imagine that he'd also post 10+ clips of whatever other damning thing she's done on stream. Yet he didn't find anything more damning than those two incidents. But yea, let's take this obviously stable channel as gospel.

So basically the other videos are about suicide baiting just like the video we already know?

I need to start waking up earlier to catch Ollie’s streams. Well there’s something that’ll help with that.
I got a job (washing dishes), you heard that right, it’s PRN but it’s a start. Ngl, I’m nervous.

edit: part-time, don't need to get up early for it but should do so I can have time to practice driving

Suisei's diamond in the rough is being attacked by superchats and memberships. If you don't like that you don't like vtubers.

In other news Prune is playing that other game.

The duality of the internet and a neet like me - all the time in the world and still not enough time to watch them all.

Well apparently DDK made some confusing statements recently. Maybe something changed due to the drama, it might be unrelated (she had a surprisingly strong reaction to that Rushia stuff though):

And really, this is the part that made it hard for me to really hold too much against her RE: Her streamer mental game/coping strategies. She had 8 years of just being SHIT on in every conceivable fashion and had LITERALLY used her last chance to make something of herself in the career path she wanted. Could she tone it down a bit? Yea, sure. And in fact, I'd argue she's massively improved on her overall mental fortitude since the beginning. But that kind of thinking/coping/whatever you want to call it is really hard to break out of when it's been your primary way of thinking for so long. Sure, she's successful. But something inside her will still unconciously think it's all just a house of cards waiting for one bad poke to knock everything down and she's back to a life of menial work again.
Kiara stop being a SJW is already a good point moving forward. With Rushia falling from grace, I doubt she would do anything stupid enough to get cancel (/vt/ schizos already on her since day 1 and fail).

Hey chicken, I know you are here, I think it’s better for you to spend sometime and “clean up” your Twitter out of SJW contents so current and future schizos have less bullet to fire at you. Remember, you are EVERYTHING that SJW hates for being a ginger, white, skinny (used to) white girl (even troons will hate your ass if you are not posting stunning and brave content if they asked). If you want to keep being SJW, create a throwaway account and do it. If you want to see/research reverse racism, just look up what happen in South Africa.

He kinda late to the party.
Nothing interesting. Just some sort of reaction from him.
He doesn't sounds like he following the drama closely.
The thing he talks about in the video sounds basic & shallow

Not worth your time. Don't bother.
Just want to let you know it exists.

Interesting case study. Hololive is collabing with an 8 year old mobile rhythm idol game, and the fan of said game absolutely hate it. Every reply say how they hate the collab and wish the dev stop it, and that they don't want Hololive collab with their game. At first, I thought that JP weeb start to hate how Hololive is basically everywhere - - even in the newspaper this morning, but the truth is something completely different.

I'm sorry, it's not that I don't like it because it's Hololive, it's just that I don't like the disruption of the worldview of idols living in the future collaborating with idols living in the present. There's nothing wrong with Hololive. We just don't want to see the worldview that the general manager and his team have cherished destroyed. I'm sorry for misleading you. (DeepL)
Simply put, this game setting is made by one director who make all the story, lore and everything in it. He also gave interview that the game will never collab with outside media because he want to protect the world he built. Fast forward to today, the director got changed to the current one, and this collab happen, the first of its kind in the game eight years life cycle. Fans of the game absolutely hate it, thinking this the new director is destroying the world the original creator had built, and an attempt at last cash grab before the game permanent shutdown. The fans are now explaining how they don't hate Hololive, just hate the direction the dev is taking. The whole thing is pretty interesting, if nothing burger at the end of the day.

I didn't see this posted while browsing through the Rushia drama the past couple weeks, someone's gone out of their way to translate some highlight moments from the Holostar's Raft collab between Roberu, Temma, and Izuru. This is one of the funniest Raft collabs I've seen considering as I tend to find the game boring to watch.

I send some, but you know, Rushia drama. But, I would like to add this. I asked how the girls did in Raft compared to the boys, and I think I have an answer. When the girls did a four player collab on Raft, they didn't get that far. When the girls did a two player collab (like Miko and Suisei and Watame and Flare), they got further, but not as far as the boys. Now, the boys got surpassed by the gaming hag lion, who was also streaming the game solo. So, there's that.

It's not a nothingburger if it's the sentiment of the fanbase. It's not for anyone but the loyal fans and paying customers to determine that.

To this day I believe that FFXV was permanently hurt by its ridiculous and erratic collabs like Sims 4, Assassin's Creed, Cup Noodle, Audi etc. From the outside looking in it just looks like a dumb but harmless thing, but it really maimed the FF brand's image.

If the fans put a lot of stock in the lore and story of a dumb idol rhythm game, or consider 'no collabs' to be a pillar of the game, then uprooting that is a big issue. It's quite telling that the fans aren't blaming Hololive and aren't being hostile towards Hololive.

Wow that's actually interesting. So questions with this. Are fujos bigger whales than male simps for female vtubers? Also, is this first time Nijisanji en did better than Hololive en in revenue?
