Poles have hated Russians for much longer. They still remember, among other things, when some boytoy of Catherine the Great split their kingdom with the Germans the first go around.

If anyone fancies listening to a historical perspective, the recently shamed/cancelled historian Dr David Starkey (allegedly racist, self-described poof) is always interesting:

short interview (posted a week ago)

longer scripted video (posted 2 days ago)

No, I mean backing out of a deal the moment you get what you want. Since doing that with nuclear weapons gives tacit justification for the other guy to start launching, both sides have a good track record of following through on their side of the bargain.
except that was the deal, yet here we are. "after" can mean anything from 1 second to 1 decade, except then ukraine is a nato state enjoying all the perks of their protection.

it's like that shit kid you grew up with messing with you and the moment it gets tough it runs to his mom.

Can someone please summerise the conflict by referencing Star Wars, Harry Potter or the Marvel Cinematic Universe?
Ukraine is the small slav girl, Russia is the bull, the EU and US are the cucks who're crying in the corner while paying all the slav girl's bills.

Oh wait you wanted pop references? Oh well those fandoms and cuck porn coomers have large crossovers.

So it's official. NATO doesn't send any planes to Ukraine.

What you're seeing is a very real challenge to the existing power structure and the current powers that be are pulling all the stops possible to try and discourage China, India, Brazil, Iraq, and any other country from joining Russia in this attempt to take out the king.

Putin is taking his shot, for his sake he better hope he doesn't miss.
He's gone all in. Why he's putting his whole stack on the table I don't know, he's spent his entire career as a careful and conservative tactician, so whatever has motivated this must be something that's both urgent and overwhelmingly important, at least in his mind. I tell you what though, he's 100% right about America, Burgerland is the empire of lies.

Yes, in fact, until recently, attempts have not stopped to use us in their own interests, destroy our traditional values and impose on us their pseudo-values that would corrode us, our people from the inside, those attitudes that they are already aggressively planting in their countries and which directly lead to degradation and degeneration, because they contradict the very nature of man. It won’t happen, no one has ever done it. It won’t work now either.

Every degenerate change to culture originates from and is promoted by the United States. That entire country is a giant cesspool populated by deathfat retards. Putin believes that in the future there won't be a Russia unless he stands up to them, and he's 100% correct. Whether or not invading the Ukraine is the correct move in stymieing globohomo only time will tell, but for sure the chosen are sperging hard and panicking so maybe that's a tell.

Ukraine 2022 is the decisive test that will prove which of these approaches will reign victorious. In this sense, those who suspect that the consequences could be a great deal more profound than they thought are correct.

The Russian leadership, which decided on extremely drastic steps, probably understood the consequences, or even consciously aspired to them. The page of cooperation with the West has been turned. This does not mean that isolationism will become the norm, but it does mark the end of an important historical chapter in political relations. The new Cold War will not end quickly.

After some time, the effects that the current military operation has caused will most likely begin to subside, and some forms of interaction will resume, but the line has inevitably been drawn. Even in a favorable scenario, it will be many years before sanctions are lifted and ties are gradually and selectively restored. Restructuring economic priorities will require a different approach, which will stimulate development in some ways, and slow it down in others. The most active part of Russian society will have to realize that their old way of life is gone.

‘Fort Russia’ has decided to put its strength to the test and, at the same time, has become an agent of cardinal change for the whole world.

The Russian elites have consciously decided to break from the west completely and irrevocably. To them the sanctions aren't a punishment they're a required cleansing. We now live in a dual pole world, globohomo and not globohomo. We will all have to pick a side.

Tim Pool has his own lol thread.
I looked in last night 9 mins till he went off on some MCU shit about some flying superhero. Other movies followed.

I didn't watch much. Ended it for me when all the man children agreed soldiers would refuse to turn the key

Autocorrect is definitely a Russian plot

Looks to me like NATO realises how fucked Ukraine is and how putting any troops/planes down would pretty much be a suicide mission at this point. Kiev is surrounded, Russian troops are so far inwards they're almost able to link up between two different entry points, airspace is completely under Russian control and yesterday it didn't seem like there were ANY reports of Russian tanks getting blown up or abandoned like there were in the first few days.

I actually see Russia holding once Kiev is surrounded just to watch them squirm. I also see Russia allowing a single exit point from Kiev so they can police who leaves.

This 100%!

I think this was the right time due to China specifically but a bunch of other countries that haven't joined the chorus in signaling agaisnt Russia seemingly also looking to break away from globohomo. I'm all for it.

But what we kiwis on here think doesn't matter. What does matter is what you said at the end. The world's battlelines are getting firmer and it is globohomo vs not globohomo. Everyone needs to think and decide which side they want to be on.

I don't know how shit works in the Ukrainian military and how desperate they are to scrape the absolute bottom of the barrel, but is coming out as a proud masculine presenting transgender lesbian or even pretending to be openly gay a viable option for you to avoid the meat grinder?

If not, then GG man. Hope you make it back alive, in one peace and your sanity intact.
I meant I gave my passport to the police and I'm starting an asylum request procedure. I'm not going to fight. This is the second time I've evaded shit of monumental proportions and I'm not going to waste it.

No no no... Twitter told me Sky Marshal Zelensky and his top general - a guy named "Steiner" - are planning the relief of Kiev right now.
