It certainly seems like the information coming out of Ukraine has slowed to a stop. There was already little coming from the Russian side but the stuff coming out of Ukrainian sources seems to have died off. Either we're in a bit of a holding pattern or Russia's stated offensive on Ukrainian telecommunications infrastructure has been relatively successful so nothing is coming out.

Russian forces have allegedly destroyed or damaged a telecommunication tower in Kiev.

Big emotional moment because the tower is apparently located nearly the Babi Yar Holocaust Memorial which could have been also damaged.

But in one of them "it's a small world after all" coincidences, Babi Yar / Babyn Yar / Tasha Yar only recently got a major new "art installation"

Yes, the artist who designed the Wall of Dildos is that Marina Abramovic of DNC / John Pedosta / Spirit Cooking fame.

Conclusion: trust the plan. Trump can still win. #thestorm THERE'S A WAR ON FOR YOUR MIND :hulk:

I figured that would be the case. Russian soldiers capturing a canadian national fighting for ukraine could cause a serious international incident and he'll definitely get his ass thrown in prison for causing such an incident. Assuming he doesn't get blown to shit by a missile first
international incident? russians will just execute him, then report him as 'killed in action' and that's the end of the story

By any measureable metric, Ukraine WAS an easy grab. The disparity between Ukraine and Russia is simply too vast.
Within 48 hours, two things became readily apparent:
1) That their air force was screwed
2) That neither NATO, nor anybody else, is going to bail them out.

You cannot win a war within a few days, but you can certainly lose it. That's what happened, everything else is just a question of how ugly it's going to get.
I mean Russia has two options they had the quick option but Ukraine is not Georgia it's a country at least the size of Texas. Plus they're a country that happens to be a massive post Soviet state armory that the Russians want in their sphere of influence under their direct control again. However I don't the Russia anticipated resistance of residents arming up en masse and forming ad hoc defense units. not only that the nature of warfare would make grozny seem like a picnic. Even if Russia let's say wins Ukraine it will probably be a hotspot for anti Russian terrorism for at least a decade. you will see a ukranian version of The troubles again.
All in all expect the combat to be bloody and fighting to be brutal.
That primal urge to fight, and for something greater than oneself, hasn't gone away from the human heart.

Sadly, it has been socially engineered to be directed at distant boogeymen, instead of those who actually pose a threat to one's own way of life.
Well our society is a careful game of pressure valve reliefs, control, controlling masses. What is scary is accelerationists are becoming legitimate third party actors who can fuck up anyone's day badly.

Russian command did announce they would attack the building of 72nd informational psychological operations HQ in Kiev where the "informational attacks" are coming from earlier today. They advised the civilians to evacuate the area several hours beforehand.

This seems bad and retarded. As soon as one of these dipshits gets smoked they can talk about Americans killed in the conflict and draw us in deeper.
It's really stupid, but I do have a bit of respect for these people. Yeah, they're basically to military equivalent of the Jamaican bobsled team. And sure, most of them have no military experience and they're going to be shot, raped to death, and then eaten by Chechens, but at least they're putting their money where their mouths are. It's more than I can say for the politicians and armchair generals on Twitter suggesting we start World War 3 by getting NATO and the US involved. Patrick Tomlinson and Joe Scarborough aren't going over to do shit, and these guys are, so my hat's off to them. I hope when they blow themselves up due to sheer incompetence, they take a few Russians with them.

Most countries have laws on their books about going to fight for the military of a country currently at war with someone you aren't at war with for obvious reasons.

America doesn't have a law against it just no recruiting or enlisting for a foreign military on American soil which again makes sense. There is a bit in that statute where they can assume you have relinquished your American citizenship if you join another country's military though probably for much the same reason.

I don't think it's so much censorship as much as it is the Russian military practicing phone discipline. A lot of GIs in the ME were giving away their geodata with gadgets so most professional militaries ban them in the field to stop their guys getting tracked in realtime. Granted they aren't doing pat downs for contraband but at the same time young enlisted guys aren't going to whip out their phones for sweet tiktok vids if that means the king gopnik SNCO might see you and bash your phone to bits. This could be why we see so little video footage from the Russian side.

That is one of the (many) things that pisses me off about Hollywood movies about modern war. The main character will be seen with a laptop making a video call to his wife and kids while he is in some 3rd world shithole.

"Why yes, I am just an enlisted turd but I am totally allowed to hog all the base's wifi bandwidth to make an unsecured video call to the fucking US... in the year 2006."

Fuck off, Hollywood needs to be run over by one those tanks that is currently invading the Ukraine, and then have the tank run out of fuel so Hollywood gets flattened to death.

I watched Oliver Stone's 2016 Ukraine on Fire last night.

Warning: It fucking sucks, the pacing is way too fast with almost no details, it's autistic as fuck and jumps around like a George Floyd on a speedball.

That being said, I recommend anyone who isn't up to speed on the absolute clusterfuck that the west created out of Ukraine, it will answer all your questions. We orchestrated this entire mess through bad decisions and meddling, and are doing our best to deny and deflect today. The west, especially the United States, is the bad guy in all this. My mind is made up. We just can't help ourselves. It really breaks down the fascist history of Ukraine, and their love for murderers, despots, and maniacs: actual Nazis.

The fact that the left and the media, a bunch of low testosterone morons on Reddit, and almost all of our politicians are now supporting them...yeah, fuck those guys.

Fuck Russia too....but this thing is way worse than we thought. If you want a crash course, check it out.
