That's fucking shitty, and something we should be striving to avoid. The price might be the overall noise and "misinformation" we're seeing now, but the effort of parsing and questioning those stories is more than worth it when the alternative is getting beat down for wrongthink.
As an amusing aside, I was once approached by a young couple on a streetcar while reading Atlas Shrugged, and they seemed cheered rather than offended by the event. I know its not likely to happen, I but hope Russia gets their hands on some juicy documents before everything is DFE. I can only imagine the degree of corruption involving American politicians in that country. maybe we'll get really lucky and they'll post the files related to Biden.

Yeah Ukraines military and most Ukrainians don't want the Russians in their country. They don't hate Russian people but they do hate Russias government sending it's troops over to it. Sure you have some sympathetic people in the east but even those people are saying to themselves Russian pig go home.
With also the flooding in of foreign volunteers plus the risk of Kyiv continuing the fighting in lviv which is much closer and the EU can easily supply more arms too that would be a different story. Also if one realizes that the pro Kremlin sabetours have been rounded up I mean Jesus Christ they nearly lynched CRP because RT took a video of his stream and used it in their propaganda videos. I mean the US and Ukrainian government caught the pro Kremlin sabetours very quickly. This has made things very difficult now as outside of satalite images Russia is almost running blind in Ukraine as it's local spies have been dealt with.
