At least the top 3 frequencies probably have some tx power behind them, since there is no way foot soldiers are using them.

It appears there are really no WebSDR servers/receivers near/in the Ukraine, that have capabilities in these bands.
Very interesting how everyone and their grandma can spy on the Russians on WebSDR with the next receiver (with fitting frequencies) being hundreds of miles away from the fighting, and I doubt the transmit power will be that high.

Which lends credence to the theory that all those third rate units that were getting captured\fucked up in the first few days were just recon in force for the main line units and soaking up some of the javelins.

Which also really sucks, because the population is getting cowed into fighting a modern army, egged on and financed by every single western government in existence. They are all about to find out what it feels like being an insurgent in Afghanistan or Iraq, except they have little to no experience, against an army with no ROE, way better equipment, and air support.

I am wondering what will happen with the "Russians are War Criminals!" talk going on right now from the west, as more video comes out of these unprepared people zerging armored columns and subsequently getting blown apart hits the internet.

His best case option is probably going to be ending up with western Ukraine independent, the Crimea going back to Russia, and those two bs "peoples republics" being enlarged into some sort of "east Ukraine" that would inevitably vote to join Russia as an autonomous region in a few years. Ending up like Finland is probably his best hope.
