Are the Ukranian oligarchs the same as the Russian ones or the same as the US ones? Because all the videos of people being harmed or things being bombed are just people taking orders. I feel for them. The people at the top have the vision and that translates down to the generals and then to the presidents and so on.

I've done research (which I'm usually very good at and even get paid for) and cannot figure it out.

Asking 'who owns who' is pointless. People with money and political ambitions put money all over the place and also usually don't try to overly invest themselves in any one political figure (for fear of catching blowback if the political winds change).

Zelensky and his government probably have some level of financial backing from western, Ukrainian, and Russian oligarchs simultaneously. There are no shortage of oligarchs who hate Putin and would prefer to see him fail so they could get someone more sympathetic to their interests. We also know that there are western business interests who like Putin more than they like Zelensky, Biden, EU politicians etc.

Can't say for equipment but from what I've seen I think around 110 Russian soldiers killed or wounded is accurate, and around 670 Ukrainian soldiers killed, wounded, or captured.

The Great Republic of the United States of America is a global economic, military, scientific, cultural, technological, and even linguistic hegemon. It retains it's great hegemony and de facto "transcendence" of international law even in spite of its current state of decline, because countries like the United States are incredibly good at reinventing themselves to fit new challenges. It's like a cycle only a representative republican democracy or robust empire is really capable of, you see.
