Here is what I think happened:

First of all, the trip to New York was spontaneous and unplanned.

Clotso apparently believed that DeeDee wasn't there yesterday. Sensing her opportunity, she rushed to Nader's with gifts of coffee and weed, where she intended to ply him with the weed and worm her way back into his heart. If the weed started to work, she would reveal she had gone there commando for him. Never mind the police report, that is water under the bridge. DeeDee however, was there and ran interference. This is what enraged El Fatso so much; DeeDee was "acting like a mom" and telling her that she needs to leave and that they can be in trouble for talking to her. Nader, for his part, remained upstairs (she did tell us this in the stream) and refused to come down. This is why her next stream was called "Coward"; he is a coward because he refuses to talk to her (in compliance with any no contact order).

DeeDee, as the middleman, kept Chantal away from her object of love and totally rained on her parade. El Stupido, her pride smarting and not wanting to go home like a scolded dog, instead made a crazed beeline for the border. She'll show them! She'll just have fun without them! When she got stranded there, she began raging at DeeDee partly because she sees DeeDee as responsible for her trip to New York, and thus responsible for her predicament.

I do believe that Nader has not been communicating with her at all. She whined about sending him unceasing text messages (over and over!!!) after filing the police report, all of which he "completely ignored". He has not uttered a peep about her in a livestream since the report was filed. She claims he refused to come downstairs. She hinted through DeeDee that there might be rent money in it for him, but he apparently refused.

At this point, I think Nader and DeeDee are smart enough to know not to contact Chantal. But Chantal is crazy and stupid and arrives at their place (I am not even convinced anyone asked her there; she has gone there uninvited many times before). DeeDee, rationally but unwisely, tried to talk sense into Chantal, probably assuming that there is some part of Chantal's brain that is not insane and stupid. This was a mistake on DeeDee's part, and I don't think she'll make it again.

DeeDee and Nader should report this breach to whatever cop is handling her report and tell them they want her to stop coming 'round.

As for the detective who called, some a-logger probably tipped him off. He apparently told her that she will get "in trouble" if she keeps talking about it, so she stopped.

Any of this could be wrong, but it makes the most sense to me. I do believe Nader is not playing the game anymore, but Chantal still is.
