He is definitely very critical of US foreign policy. A good portion of the talk is about NATO and broken promises to Putin. I don't remember him saying anything about culture or the people of the west.

Something tells me this guy and every other Russian youtuber/streamer who complains about having to switch banks or the inflation will conveniently forget to mention that ruble cratering probably made up for all of it considering they probably get most of their support from foreign supporters, especially if they speak english.

There was a photo of RF soldier who hung himself from a tree, swinging and locals poking him. It (suicides) actually happen more than you know, especially to ground troops seeing action and freaking out.

It may also be Ukrainians fucking with Russians, not very hard to figure out relative's phone number and giving them a call.

There is a good number of Russian POWs giving a call to their family on camera. Don't think that it's all under duress either, most of these kids are not putin's fanatics.

This may be slightly questionable tactic, but probably not as questionable as hijacking an embulance to get around town, like Chechens were known to have done.

The "we didn't find no WMDs" is based on a preliminary report from 2004ish. It was amended afterward and it completely reversed course. But, who cares, the narrative was made. To Joe Blow the truth is that they found nothing and that's all that matters. Why yes 2004 was an election year, howdya guess?

Honestly explaining that the WMD predication of the 03 Iraq war to people who hold onto the "wmds were a lie" lie is just not worth it.
The reasons for the war were multi-faceted... from the barring of UN weapons inspectors (which was part of the reason Saddam got to keep Iraq after Desert Storm), to human right's violations, multiple points of breaking the Gulf War cease fire, etc....
