The thing was that if Nevillle Chamberlain had dashed into war immediately rather than making the bad deals he did, the effects of severe cuts which Churchill had played his part, and which Chamberlain had started to reverse, might have had led to a very bad result. Chamberlain was a Christian businessman who hoped that Hitler would at least keep his word in part for a time. Hitler did not, but it bought time. Remember that Churchill gave us the horror of Gallipoli which itself gave the depraved CUP of Grand Vizier Talit Pasha the legitimacy to slaughter 1.2 million Armenians and expel many of the Rum, a task which Kemal Ataturk completed. His post Great War efforts in Mesopotamia were not glorious either. War should be avoided unless there is a good chance of winning. Dishonour is a matter for the pompous.

The MInsk Accord already gave Putin veto over Ukraine via his puppet pretend Republics, but I suppose that might have taken years he didn't have, and confused Joe and retard Kamala might be replaced by capable people later.
Is Churchill much like Woodrow Wilson? Every modern political faction hates his guts for different reasons, lefties hate him for being racist, righties hate him for not teaming up with Hitler to end the Red Menace, but the real reason they all hate him is that boomers like him, and the whole point of modern edgelord politics is to troll boomers by pissing on their sacred cows.

One pound of Ukrainian people, please, I want to take my country backwards.

60 million barrels released from the strategic reserve.

30 million barrels released.

In the same breath.
60 million barrels?
what do you want 30 million barrels for?
here's the 15 million barrels we said we will deliver
don't spend those 7.5 millions barrels all at once
also we gonna raise taxes to 90% to cover for those 3.25 millions barrels

Lol retard melty just now realizing i was getting baited hardcore,

However, Russia has used all interior supply lines in this invasion, counting Belarus as interior. They should have had plenty of time to get everything needed at staging points, on top of ensuring all vehicles were fueled and had extra fuel cans, supply trucks loaded to the max with rations/ammo/food/batteries/certain spare parts, with follow-on supply/repair/maintenance convoys ready to roll with the advance. This is a function of proper logistical planning. Again, poor planning by the Russians.

In STAVKA's defense they were apparently not given much notice of the invasion and were told to operate under the monumentally stupid assumption that the Ukranians were all just going to lay down their arms

Seriously? An airborne drop at 3 in the morning? Did Putin shuffle all the political dissidents to VDV or something? I get that he's trying to dab on Biden during the speech, but the first fucking thing we learned about airborne operations was "don't drop troops at night".
Would've been better to bomb while Biden had verbal diarrhea on national TV

I suppose he only managed to get as far as he did by being a great writer, much easier to get your ideas across when you literally write the history books.
Churchill and Wilson are some of the OG interventionists. They are the ones who have planted in the West's collective mind the idea that every tinpot dictator in Shitsplatistan is the next Hitler, and therefore "wE MuSt DO SOMETHING!"

Americans need to chant "everyone elses stuff is shit made by goblins out of scrap iron" sitting on their $50,000 Raytheon Tactical Buttock Supporters as Chinese hypersonic missiles annihilate their carrier group, or they are blown up by a rusty 1970s soviet land mine strapped to a donkey, because USA #1 is a question of identity not rational judegement

America's stuff is the best in a lot of cases but there are areas where other militarily come close to or exceed their capabilities

Russia's ewar, artillery and medium rage missile capabilities for example probably meets or exceeds the americans

The last time my wife and I visited mainland China, she had a case of the Beijing Shits because a shitty Chinese water boiler did not sufficiently boil the shitty water coming out of the shitty Chinese pipes. If you can't even deliver potable water - and this is a national problem for China - I'm suspicious as fuck that your military can wipe the floor with any near-peer power.

I've never actually met a rural Chinaman I didn't like, but China as a whole is retarded. Their Meguh Hypersanic Missuls are like a lot of the Chinese military: vaporware. What funding isn't skimmed by whatever local Communist Party clique will be skimmed by whatever officer commands that specific unit.

China hasn't been to war in going on fifty years, lacks any semblance of a warrior culture, and doesn't even have joint command or any ability for groups to communicate with one another. If you think the Russians have shown autism in Ukraine, you're going to blush at the Turbo Tards the PLA are capable of being.

This honestly feels like NATO and it's associates like the US are doing the "Cope, Seethe, Dilate" cycle instead of actually doing something about Russia's invasion, since all this speech does is give false hope that with these minimal steps, Russia will fall in weeks time.
Biden might ask China for help against Russia again.
