Returning to normal Ukrainian Large Arctic Dwelling....

My guess is that by the end of the week, Putler and Zeslinky or whatever the fuck his name is will be hashing out peace talks. Russia will probably get a chunk of Ukraine and the rest will join the EU.

No, excluding PsA as in PSA is very good. PSA makes fantastic firearms, I have a PA-15 M4
All the same, the fact remains that M4s are not suitable for this theater of conflict. Amateurs study tactics (muh ARs vs AKs), professionals study logistics (what caliber is most prominent here? What does the army use as its standard? What is the enemy using?)

Again, I'm on Team ArmaLite personally, but Ukrainians need AKs right now.

Honestly I think that's the funniest possibility of all this tragedy. The EU being saddled with yet another corrupt shithole they need to rebuild, all while suddenly faced with a need to realign their energy supply.

It was more about just not sending any in general. Afaik we only sent them missiles and Javelins. I doubt the Us has any real stockpile of eastern weapons.

oh god, now I have to imagine what a 19th century /k/ meetup would have looked like...

Probably would have ended in someone dead in a duel to the death.

He was mad that new toy called breechloading rifles was considered trash by some uptight old aristocrat asshole.

I would have loved to see 19th century boomers.

"Did I tell you when me and the boys kicked Napoleon's ass at Waterloo?, Oh, yes, I already told you that".

In a perfect world it would make them reconsider the folly of the whole political unification thing and go back to EEC-style cooperation.

That's pretty plausible. Putin really doesn't want to occupy the entire country. Can see some more of eastern Ukraine going to the two "republics". Nevertheless, this will just widen and deepen the river of bad blood between Ukraine and Russia. Russia and Putin will still be considered and treated as pariahs by the rest of the world. More Western arms will flow into Ukraine to re-equip the forces.

Even if Russia wins, they have still lost, and the ramifications of that loss have just started.

That may in fact be Russia's plan here. If they cannot conquer Ukraine then in effect they've waged a war on the European Union without doing so.

If nukes somehow do start flying my only wish is that the exchange is big enough to kill me outright rather than just semi-permanently knocking out the internet via EMP or wrecked infrastructure.

An exchange would likely only occur after a period of intense conventional fighting and I don't want to live in a world where I can't log on afterwards and settle all of my internet scores with anyone still alive regarding my 100% correct opinions on the subject of hypothetical near-peer warfare.

That would be our fucking luck wouldn't it?

Nuclear war. But we dont all get obliterated. And dont get a mad max society. We just deal with annoying shit like no internet, store's out of grape jelly, etc for 3 or 4 years.

Some would consider Washington DC and New York being turned to glass as an acceptable gain for this.

Not going to do the what rifle is better spergout. We are 15 pages away from the motherland and 500 away from the end.

Also Ian is a sperg who can rattle off inane details about guns, which is an accomplishment. Sadly, he has probably put more rounds downrange than me at this point and still can't shoot for shit.

I dont think so. Full on anexation. Russia has wasted too many resources at this point. They need their buffer states.
