Joe looks like he's about to give his puppetmasters a fucking courtesy. Harris looking like the internally horrified mother of a retarded son, trying to hide it behind a reassuring smile. If I gave someone my left hand to shake I'd kind of expect that I guess. Pelosi's shit-eating grin almost makes me think they're about to 25th him. They both have extremely domineering body language and any federal politician is given enough training to know exactly what they are doing. I personally wouldn't let them sit behind and above me like some fucking monarch.

Back then Clinton was getting pressure from the same type of retarded talking heads about crime reform, but once election season came around and most people were notably concerned about being raped or mugged in cities, Clinton suddenly came out as tough on crime.

And who knows, middle America may be stupid enough to buy it again. But slick Willie had the advantage of some other things going his way, he looked good by comparison to Biden in people's eyes because people back then were dumb enough to think he was a positive for the economy. Biden doesn't have that advantage.

the Defund the Police was mostly a progressive Dem led idea the establishment dems reluctantly echoed to win midterms and unify the DNC. No centrist dem really liked it and just like AOC were bound to chuck it as soon as progressives weren’t as useful.

It's going to be hard to be tough on crime when DAs refuse to go after anyone. DAs were at least somewhat sane during the Clinton years and that isn't the case here. Flooding the federal courts with shit doesn't seem like an option either.
