What he could have and should have done is cut the video aspect out entirely, record audio interviews, and use them to supplement a written "exclusive" inside look at the AFPAC experience that he could put on his blog or as a featured article for the print zine he was floating a while back. And then he could release the audio as a bonus on subscribestar or gumroad or whatever subscription platform he uses now (does he even have one anymore?)

very little good art is made when the people making it are just doing it for a paycheck. HST didn't do that, which is what made him famous, he wrote what he wanted to write in a way he wanted and that lead to a better story than the ones Rolling Stone expected out of him. If you care you can even make something as lowly as an advice column become great. I know for a fact that some mullatto chick from Philly could host the Killstream and during the stream.me days and despite being everything and having all the views the audience hates she would have enough charisma and personality to make these interviews with WN entertaining.
