Haven't watched it yet, but holy shit the contrast between Ralph and Brimelow cannot be overstated, he looks more fat and sloppy here than I've ever seen him.

@CringeMomma pointed out that he's stowing his phone under his gunt and he's also not wearing undies (in Florida. Imagine)

To highlight the contrast. He looks like a fucking clown compared to this elderly gentleman who happens to be an alt-right figure. I've briefly listened to it and Brimlow seems to be having second hand embarrassment. One guy is a soft spoken, kinda sounds thoughtful. The other is this loud mouthed moron screaming into a mic that is 5cm from his mouth.

I'm 2+ minutes in and ready to tap out. It's just this soft spoken man going "uh huh" while Gunt blathers on very loudly. He's blowing one of my ears out because I can't hear Brimlow and have to keep increasing my volume.

His posture, body language and movements are not suited to the live interview format. The other guy is barely moving and this fat lump is rolling all over the place.

What he could have and should have done is cut the video aspect out entirely, record audio interviews, and use them to supplement a written "exclusive" inside look at the AFPAC experience that he could put on his blog or as a featured article for the print zine he was floating a while back. And then he could release the audio as a bonus on subscribestar or gumroad or whatever subscription platform he uses now (does he even have one anymore?)

Made all the more perfect because he'd be emulating his idol Hunter Thompson by writing about a political function from a first person perspective.

The more I think about it the more incredulous I am when it comes to Ethan's astonishing ability at self-sabotage, squandering opportunities (money making and otherwise), and just overall ineptitude. He's been coasting on the "success" of post-jail Killstream for five years and he's only regressing in quality and content as time goes on. I know we joke about wet brain and being low IQ, but Ralph really is incredibly and unironically impressively stupid.

In his perception he thought that by mimicking Dick Masterson's set up was a good idea because he sees him as an idol. He may regret it now but he's too far gone with it so now he has to commit to it because he's an idiot.
