captain 1st rank is barely above colonel in Russian navy, big enough to know plans (and command a ship of his own) but not exactly Dr. Evil by any stretch of imagination.

From the earlier days after several mechanized columns got stuck, Uks captured a major who lead yet another mechanized column personally. That's not a stretch to me. Russians are trying to improvise after failed attempts.

No powerlevel, but Soviet and Russian military see improvisation at command level as shooting offense.

Why would they suddenly ramp up the globalism in Ukraine if they win? Was there a fear that they would defect to Russia if they boiled the frog too fast?

Also refugees are mainly used to punish recalcitrant voting blocs, IMO they'll get a 1950s-esque breathing period while subversives warp the mythology of the war to prep for the cultural revolution.

Funny thing is, this is basically what they were doing with separatist forces for the last 8 years. They probably virtually destroyed an entirety of russian troops and vehicles more than three times. No wonder people who listened for this shit for so long try to attack tanks with molotovs only to get shredded. They are like muslim terrorists.

Nah they left Mali just recently or they're in the process of leaving Mali right now because of the military coup that hilariously happened because the civilian government and the French were too inept at fighting jihadis
