I think he's usually seething with rage that anyone would dare to disagree with him, due to his alcohol intake, but he breaks out the smirk when he writes one his "zingers" that he tweets out several times trying to make them go viral. After a while has passed and this has once again failed to happen, the smirk disappears, and soon he will be back to raging.

I don't know why there would be a limited time. Someone said that he'll owe more the longer it takes because the interest accrues. Quasi stands to make money out of this, not break even.

I asked because American law is confusing, even for a Burgerlander like me, and I just wanted to be sure. So, next question: can Quasi collect any time he wants, or does Fat get to pay when he's ready?

Well, I guess that's why Quasi has a lien on Rick's half-a-hovel until the debt is paid. The question is how much time Piggy has left, and how fast the interest of the debt swells. I have no idea about that.

He has a lien. That continues to exist so long as he renews it on a timely basis every now and then. He might have to wait until Fatty dies of morbid obesity, but at any point, if anything subject to the lien has to be sold, they have to pay off the lien too. Imagine the sheer enthusiasm Rick's wife will have if she doesn't yet know she's probably also on the hook for Rick's frivolous litigation.
