I like Nene but she was really dumb here.

Anyone who knows anything about the Twitter artist community knows that they are very autistic when it comes to tracing. I mean in this own thread we have the screencap of Iofi saying that the thing she hates the most are tracers. If you trace and get caught it will cause drama, and if you are literally a member of Hololive you will probably get caught. And tracing is not something you do by accident. It's not like slipping up and saying a wrong word - you have to go out of your way to trace.

I do think that Nene probably believed that the level of referencing she was doing wouldn't be called tracing, but plenty of artists could have told her otherwise. That it was of an artist who has a working relationship with Cover is a good thing here, one can imagine the drama would be worse if the artist themselves went to Twitter accusing her of tracing directly.

Remind me - what is the limit for reference material?

If the artist themselves is satisfied with whatever discussions they had in private than there's not much reason for this to become anything more.

Of course I know some on twitter will still make a fuss over it but Honestly who can be bothered to give a shit about uninvolved people offended on someone elses behalf. Only person that's opinion matters is the artist in question.

New update means it will be a bit fresher (new stage has a nice difficulty spike, new character and some QoL stuff), still not sure about it as a streaming game. But, it seems the chuubas are enjoying playing it enough.

The new stage has so many gimmicks it made the game less of a Tower Defense and more of a SHMUP/Bullet Hell now, at least that's what I get from warching the Rabbit and Orca's streams

I'm not Scuttle, but I'll never miss out on an opportunity to shill the best girl, Sukoya Kana. I legitimately feel like she's a jack of all trades, in that she has some of everything that anyone would look for in a Vtuber. She even knows some English, not as much as Oliver, but still ahead of most corpo Vtubers.

Someone smart? She's in med school (hiatus that she should be coming back from this month), she consistently does well in the quiz shows Niji does in collabs with QuizKnock, and she got one of the highest scores on Choco's quiz (top 5 on the last ranking I could find).

Singer? She's not on the top-tier level that someone like Melissa or Machima are, sure, but she leads Nijisanji's unit in the Bandai Namco EDM idol project for a reason.

For some other quick mentions, if you miss the boxing dog's English-only Mario streams, give Chigusa's a look.

If you want a total psycho (in Minecraft), consider Kanae.

If you want a based shitposter with a wife and kid, check out Gwelu.

There's a fuckton of people in Niji you could check out, so I'd definitely recommend looking up those compilation channels (preferably ones that do their own translation), checking clips of those you find interesting within the compilation, and then giving them a go if you like them.

On another note, something that seemingly didn't get picked up was that another Niji/Vshojo collab happened, and this one included Sykkuno and that one fat guy that could get 12-year-old girls to cut themselves for him by breathing.

Probably did it just to spice up her resume. VA work, gaming, animation, music, etc those types of workplaces tend to have pretty colorful crowds I wouldn't be surprised if it was just so she could have the edge on someone cis gendered. Diversity even if forced looks good for the company image and all that.
The only non binary girls I've met were truthfully just tomboys/ females with masculine traits just like how there are males with feminine traits. Coming from a pretty liberal campus like 90% of them were straight.
It's the same as someone saying they are mixed with 2% French 5% Scottish 9% German, etc they just wanna feel more special than they really are.
