Well, here you go, nazis doing nazi things - the mayor of a little town Kremenna Vladimir Struk was found dead. The town was on ukrainian territory, but he wanted to let russian forces pass to escape civilian deaths, which is understandable considering how much ukrainian officials care. They day before that he was kidnapped by a bunch of people in camouflage. I was skeptical at first, but ukrainian officials confirmed it. He wasn't prosecuted nor sentenced, just kidnapped and killed.

I'm very skeptical of polling for the most part (Richard Baris is pretty much the only pollster I trust at this point and he doesn't poll in australia) so I'm not enitrely buying in the idea that the libs are absolutely screwed, things aren't looking overly great for but I still think they have a chance of winning and if these ukraine stuff actually resonates in a meaningful it would definitely be a help to them but who knows how things will play out i'm just not willing to put any trust in the polls being right.

Well this is quick intense open warfare compared to the slow burn guerrilla warfare in Afghanistan. I could buy 6000 casualties (deaths, injures, and MIA) first week, but 6k KIAs seems way too much.

The Taliban didn't have NATO flooding their country with modern military equipment. This isn't a insurgency stomp of ragheads. It's a near peer to peer war.

I think the western political class has overplayed their Ukraine hand. They may have got a small boost at first for the "though" sanctions but the normies have carried on down the "muh no fly zone now" rabbit hole so the popularity of practically every leader is on its way down for not starting world war 3 in the name of some Eastern European wasteland.

Also NATO wasn't engaging most of the insurgents directly but instead using artillery and air support.

I still think 6000 KIA is probably bullshit but no one should be surprised that Russia is suffering heavier losses.
