Looks like sanctions against India are on the table now.

Czech and German energy ministers: Thank you Boris, very cool

Oh great. If anyone wants to know the shear level of retardism regarding energy in Europe:

My utilities bill in:

May 2020 - £64 / month

May 2021 - £92 / month

March 2022 - £262 / month

Yeah, my salary has definitely not kept pace with that shit. I was on a fixed tariff but my energy company went bust (unsurprisingly given the loss they were making on every unit). Can't wait for that to shoot up again.

I also paid the equivalent of $7.64 per US gallon for diesel earlier this week.

How's the feeling on the ground? Are people happy to make this sacrifice or is the reality of bills overwhelming their consciences?

Thry'll sanction India before they sanction the mass murders of China. Every day, these bastards show where their loyalties and priorities lie.

Yeah, but the March one should be higher since it's winter (assuming the March bill is for energy used in February). You should grab your winter bills from 2020 and 2021 for a better comparison.

No we aren't. We are talking about if the Russians are going to execute or imprison Neonazi prisoners.
Yes, but we don't have any evidence to suggest the DPR treatment of Azov prisoners is equivalent to the Azov treatment of DPR prisoners.

Will they take the moral high ground? Will they not?

Lol all jokes aside, this is not a smart conflict for NATO to be starting.

One of the things which put the Axis in such a bind in WW2 was that there were a lot more people on the other side of the war. I'd also point out that Brazil and Pakistan are nations pretty high on this list and are nations NATO is pissing off.

It was already at breaking point before the Russia nonsense. I can afford that sort of jarring increase, many cannot pensioners especially who rely on heating the most and have a fixed income. If it goes up again its going to drive many into an absolutely desperate situation, especially if its a cold spring. I fully expect large scale protests (or "protests") at this rate.

Food inflation is very high on top of all these because stores need to pass those increases on somehow and the old saying of society being 3 meals from revolution might be starting to worry the politicians shortly.
