A lot of Trump's really rude comments during that presidential debate made them pick Biden, and again, after January 6th and Trump's refusal to properly condemn the events and refusal to acknowledge how he riled them up, they are sighing with relief, thinking that if Trump really saw nothing wrong with it all, he could've sown further division and led to a civil war.

Who they think is better suited for the job probably just mean the one that makes them feel good about being lied to. Biden is still very good at that.

If they accept the fundamentally manipulative Democrat framing of events like January 6th they have very much chosen an affiliation, whether they admit that to themselves or not.

Yes, now. the point I'm making is that the BJP is the strongest political force because it has mass appeal rather than entrenched decades of being in power, and if you look to western media coverage of the 2019 election, you'll see it was skewed in an anti Modi bent.

You know, given how my mom is diabetic, I would've thought both she and my dad would be against Biden due to him raising the costs of insulin.

Yet whenever I talk to them or others who are similar, they still say that it is better that he is in office over Trump. They just can't get over his rude demeanor, along with his inability to properly condemn the January 6th incident, feeling that had he stayed in office, a civil war could've happen given how much he riles up his supporters and refuses to acknowledge his part in causing them to do that stuff. It's most certainly the area you live, because the malcontents you describe (men indulging in bread and circuses and suburban white women oblivious of fake news) are the bulk of adults that live in New England, and I see it even within my own family members. The boomers of Massachusetts are especially a lost cause.

Those charts of each of the 50 states measuring approval/disapproval of Biden are no joke when it comes to the holdout that is Massachusetts.
