Very dangerous there. Back in the day I read a book so bad it killed my reading habit and it never recovered I still only read when I commute which isn't often these days. His books may be so bad he is actively killing the drive to read in people just like that fateful book did for me back then and I do propose that his work is actively harmful to culture and literacy in the long term to tens of people. At least he has zero range.

I refuse to engage his argument here because it is flat out wrong. He claims he isn’t getting sales because readers don’t branch out but the deluge of authors in scifi kinda debunks that idea. The problem is his attitude he is an abrasive cunt and most are put off by how he acts. If he had an ounce of humility he and a speck of talent beyond his first book he would be okay instead he writes utter schlock both on twitter and his books.

The real problem is his lack of talent, not his lack of humility. There have been egomaniac successful authors. But Fatrick doesn't care if (or maybe is just so detached from reality he can't depict, this is a guy who thinks you can easily take out tanks with paint filled water balloons, after all) his stories have a basic level of believability and logic. And then there's all the soapboxing and virtue signaling.

It isn’t going anywhere, he’s also hired a specialist law firm to collect. They have a wide range of tools to use to get paid. We will eventually see Pat disposed and all of his embarrassing financials laid out in court documents.

I think is lack of humility feeds into his lack of talent. If he's a true blue narcissist, he's one with a room-temp IQ because most would have learned basic manipulation at his age. Narcs already have an issue understanding their fellow man, and dumb narcs even more so. And understanding of the human condition is sort of necessary to writing actually engaging fiction, even if it's only enough to reason out "What do people like? Tits and explosions!"

What's Wisconsin law say Quasi can take from Pat? Some states won't let you take the primary residence and vehicle. Based on that, it sounds like Pat really might have to #PayQuasi by forking over the trademark to his books since other assets like his Star Trek models, his guns (Nerf or otherwise), or his motorcycle would be lucky to break 4 figures in value combined.

There are a whole lot of similarities, but the main difference is that somehow, Moviebob is the one who is smart enough to make a decent attempt at not feeding trolls. He rarely directly engages with people blatantly making fun of him, preferring to vaguepost or copy/paste a simple "blocked and reported for targeted harassment" to whip up his angels into doing the same
Pattycakes devours every single piece of bait laid out anywhere near him, and makes a point of telling everyone he's got a mouthful of bait. MovieBob is a terrible person, but he's actually less narcissistic than Pat. You get the idea he actually cares about his family members, and occasionally he'll show some vulnerability. Pat, on the other hand, is like a vessel from which all humanity has been emptied, and a pressurized hose inserted to gradually fill it to 120% of its rated pressure with 100% pure narcissism. He seems about as human as Bob orbiter TeamImpossible (the "shut up Nazi shut up Nazi shut up Nazi" autistic robot), which is to say, not at all.
