Obvious troll is obvious. How could you fall for that?
You should have known as soon as "closest ally".
As fun as it must be to troll these people, I wish they’d slow down a bit so that we can laugh at the people posting there completely earnestly.
Much more fun than dissecting posts that are obviously taking the piss.

Yeah, let's ignore the fact that this exact same thing is going on in right-wing circles except on Telegram:

These prime specimens of the Aryan Race are really gonna fare better than Reddit trannies, I promise, guys:

Nothing against the OP or making fun of Redditors, but it's hilarious when first-world football hooligans LARPing as Nazis get blown to bits in a freezing shithole too. In the eternal tradition of my people, I say Mazel Tov to both herds of dumb goyim cattle in this fight.

Agreed. Honest delusion and cringe is much more entertaining than low-effort trolling.
High effort trolling can be hilarious, but using obvious tells that even the redditors won't fall for is not very funny and makes them more guarded and less likely to post their honest thoughts.

If you find any funny stuff on Telegram, feel free to post it here as well. Maybe I should change the title to "r/VolunteersForUkraine and other war tourists" or something. It's definitely the most visible group though, as they are organizing in public on Reddit rather than in private or semi-private Telegram groups. There's also just the inherent entertainment value of your average redditor trying to larp as a mercenary.

Imagine expecting the assistance of hardened PMC vets right from the hot zones all around the world, but only thing you get is Nazi LARPers and Troons.
I know for the fact that there are some genuine ex-servicemen joining. I'm not going to powerlevel but I know a few ex-British Army who have already gone to fight and others are still gearing since Kevlar Plates for chest carriers are currently selling out in the UK (believe it or not).

I don't think many people here are gonna be too surprised by this, but its still good that you posted it. I, for one, support the purging of retards of all political stripes.

The utter fucking hilarity of the same smoothbrained assholes who were posting hot takes akin to "hurrdurr stupid rednecks with their AR15s think they'll beat tanks, jets and drones" half a year ago now trying to jump in the next plane to Ukropland so they can get pasted by Russian tanks and MLRS.
While most will get slaughtered, the difference is that such persons would be fighting war materials that are based in the US.

It conceivable to acquire some mortars to attack an air base or to take out the drone control station. Since all the factories are in the US they are suspectable to sabotage. Plus all the families of soldiers are here. Not so much for the Ukrainians.

> Kevlar
I thought Level 3 and 4 body armor was typically steel or ceramic? 7.62 is going to tear up your typical 3A kevlar body armor.

Most of these volunteers can't run to their mailbox and back to their PC without gasping for breath, let alone with 30+ lbs of combat gear. Instead of pink Poverty Pony ARs and wish.com tacticool gear, people serious about volunteering as a mercenary should invest in a fitness regimen.

Then again, that would be fat phobic and fascist

I'm eagerly waiting for the shitfest that will come if those idiots really go to Ukraine. Twitch streamers getting kidnapped and asked ransom for, getting killed, trying to play war-hero but running away screaming at the first shots (and showing the world the humiliating footage just to prove that "they've been in a warzone"), etc.
I have to agree with other users, though: those people on reddit will never go to Ukraine. They're probably larping as war heroes, getting all geared-up, and then backing down when they get a hint of how bad is life in a warzone.
Not to mention that a lot of those people would probably be worthless in a war scenario: grown up sheltered, surrounded by comfort, touched a weapon only at the shooting range. Not to mention that they don't have the motivation that drives Ukrainians to fight hard (it's not their country, after all!).
Seriously speaking, I think that the only people that would be useful would be contractors, mercenaries, ex-military that want to give it another shot, retired veterans with nothing to loose, etc., in other words people that are competent with weapons and have experience with war scenarios.

But still, I'd really like to see some of those reddit idiots and streamers fly to Ukraine only to get blown up during the first week. A dream that, sadly, will problably never come true.
