Obama was right in 2016 (yeah I've been watching Glenn Greenwald

). Ukraine is strategically important to Russia and strategically unimportant to the US. We should want good relations and good things for them, but pretending they're ARE SECOND GREATEST ALLY or the frontline of civilization, freedom, and human decency itself (

) is fucking crazy, and isn't actually helping Ukies since it directly lead to their country being bombed and invaded.
Idk where the off ramp is now, for anybody. What does "winning" look like for Russia, Ukraine, the USA, or the EU? The best Russia can reasonably hope for is to be poorer and more hated than they were before. Best the EU can hope for is a short recession instead of another great depression, along with 4 million hungry new refugees to feed. Best the US can hope for is that de-dollarization doesn't catch on and sink the entire financial foundation of the United States. Best Ukraine can hope for is that their manlet president doesn't get his wish of dragging Nato into what would be WW3 fought over the burned-out and irradiated corpse of Ukraine.
The genius of this omnifuckup is that everybody involved will probably end up losing. Except China, who will be more than happy to loan money to Europe, Ukraine and Russia, and absorb all those manufacturing jobs they'll no longer be able to afford in Germany, France and Britain.
Fuckin white people, man. They're crazy.
