I'm in this awkward situation of not wanting to side with Putin for his blatant aggression of Ukraine, but I'm not too terribly inclined with siding with or attaining a passport in the West as these countries have all but killed my dreams and ensured that my country will return to 1990s economic woes in short order. Yeah, the existential questions raised here are very somber.
Based on the events happening in Germany,
I think a third position will soon become available to you.

"We'll ban them from using Iphones and participating in cat competitions but make all their major exports 5x more valuable than they previously were!"
Without their supply of Funko pops the Russians will be incensed to revolution, just like in Iran or Cuba where sanctions totally worked!

Guys with the Russian Vodka boycott/ban whatever, is it worth buying some Russian Vodka and storing it and then selling it at sometime in the future? Assuming the ban never gets lifted, is it worth buying some incase it's value goes up in the future because of this conflict? I'll sleep on it but I am just wondering if this is worth doing since I don't plan on drinking it (partially due to a health condition but also cuz I am not a fan of strong alcohol anyway).
No, people will sadly pay more for shit vodka in a cool skull bottle. And as @DumbDude42 said, vodka is pretty much just vodka. It's doesn't get the flavour/ageing treatment that scotch does.

There is nothing special about Russian wodka, it's not like cuban cigars which apparently do taste special (and the samples I had certainly did, but the cigars I compared might have been shit) which can be explained by differences in the soil compared to other tobacco growing nations.
(Which cigar smokers claim and seem to be able to distinguish by smell and taste, similar to wine)
Wodka is highly filtered and pure anyway, so even if there was a difference in taste, you probably could not taste it in the finished product.
Polish wodka is great. Sobieski is perfect for the money.

I don't know where you are but in the USA real Russian vodka is already rare. Most of it just branding. Like "Italian food" that isn't actually from Italy.
Will real Russian vodka actually become like Cuban cigars? Who knows. But human nature is that people want things they can't get.

Vodka is disgusting, idk how anybody can drink that stuff. But if you're gonna drink it, slavs tell me Stoli is the best.

The Taliban didn't have NATO flooding their country with modern military equipment. This isn't a insurgency stomp of ragheads. It's a near peer to peer war.
Ukraine's not even close to a direct peer of Russia, this is more like a US vs. Canada war. Ukraine's got a good army and Russia isn't just rolling over them effortlessly, but the balance of power's very lopsided all the same. The Russia figures sound more accurate, IIRC something like 2,500 total Russian casualties and 7,000 total Ukrainian casualties, but the idea of there being 6,000 Russians already KIA, not counting other losses, from US sources and Ukraine saying they've lost 400 guys to 10,000 Russians, it's just asinine. Maybe it's all true, but I don't see how Russia could be taking catastrophic losses like that and dealing nothing in return and somehow holding so much of the country. It doesn't add up with what's really going on, but who knows what's really going on when literally every single source is propaganda regardless of which side it's from?

What is probably a Su-34 has been shot down, Russia may have air superiority but it looks like they haven't destroyed enough Ukrainian AA capability to really capitalize on it without taking losses. Explains why the Russian Airforce has been fairly absent in recent days.

I question that. I would think a fighter jet the size of a Su-34 would level a small house like that. The empty weight of a Su-34 is 49,604 lb.

Ah yes, volunteers get pensions.

I'm actually expecting some of these retards who do go to sue Ukraine afterwards thinking atey are obliged to get payment for their service.

There's 0% chance this was a Su-34, this thing is about as tall as this house. Here is ground support mounting KAB-500 on a Su-34.

They are getting so much shit on the replies
"200'000 dollars from the biggest multimedia franchise is pocket change"
Goes to show why companies should stay out of this as much as possible.
Granted its just humanitarian aid and they aren't going full retard like everyone else and banning Pokemon media in Russia or Russians from participating in Pokemon tournaments

Speaking of vidya, was there any virtue signalling AIDS from Blizzard? Are they going to remove Zarya from Overwatch in solidarity with Ukraine? :story:
Pretty sure they are still busy hunting and beating down the whores that dared speak up about the abuse, so i highly doubt they'll do much besides some "pay us to have this lil ukraine flag emote" kind of virtue signaling
