I guess his hope is for Cozy as a whole to gain enough publicity for more kids to flock to his stream in particular - except the reality is he will probably lose viewership as the platform gets saturated with new streamers and no new fans.
And I would not be shocked if he moves out of Kentucky the same month Nick announces he's moving down to Florida. He wants to be wherever the fun is because Nick makes him feel young and hopeful again. Can't wait for that breakup to happen.

I was gifted one of his old albums. He made physical copies of most of his stuff he put out, but anything and everything I had was trashed at the end of 2020.
This album is called "Get Laid or Die Crying"
These are a collection of songs. Slowly posted to MySpace. There was no official release. These are from like 2006-7. Matt was only like 18 or so.
You can hear him refer to himself as "Drizzle". Thats because he stole that name from Aqua Teen Hunger Force and started rapping,
The album is Matt bashing another band and a specific band member.
The band he's hating on was called "A Scarlet Catastrophe" or something like that. It may have been spelled different.
He LOATHED emo kids. He saw them as trendy hop ons and sellouts. Same thing with scene kids and eventually hipsters.
It wasn't just when he was a kid in high school. He would go on 'rants' about hipsters and sellouts at bars.
He has a reputation in Paducah, KY. I didn't really know about it until he was working at BEST BUY.
I was at walmart one night with a lady friend and we ran into a group she knew. They ended up telling us they worked at BEST BUY and I asked if they knew Matt.
Their whole demeanor changed. They looked like they almost took a step back. The girl in the group, who was talking to my lady friend, said that everyone who worked there knew him.
She said "Yeah we know Matt. He's our boss."
My lady friend said "Is he a fucking dick?" and the girl laughed her ass off and was like "YES HE IS"
The others in the group were nodding and saying "yup, yes" etc.
We didn't have time to ask why because we were both in hurry. Also neither of us needed an explanation as to why having Matt Evans as your direct manager would be bad.
He had endless rage for anyone who was a sellout. It was the worst thing you could be.
He told me one time "I carry a picture of Johnny Cash flipping me off in my wallet. Its to remind me not to be a sellout"
...and here we are.

If he ever heard someone talking about a song or a band he didn't like he would immediately tell them they were bad.
He would judge everyone on their music choices. If you played a song he didn't like he would basically berate you about how bad the band is and how bad the song is.
It happened often.
I figured he acted like that because he made music and it meant a lot to him.
Now I'm pretty sure he just did it so he could be a dick.

Yeah, he has only flirted with locations for moving so far because he doesn't want to appear set on any one place until he's certain where he will move to follow the Nick/Jaden power-bottom couple. If he does not move in next door to Nick you can bet money he will be within an hour or so's drive. For the content!
Once again providing some great insight, thank you man. Must be weird to think about how an old friend spiraled this hard and in such a public way for the whole world to gawk at.
Regarding the band you mentioned, A Scarlet Catastrophe, I wanted to hear what it was that he was criticizing but I am afraid I'm not able to find anything, not even on Soulseek...these are the only places I was able to find mention of that band. (Archive.today is down so I cannot archive these right this moment):

They note in the podcast description that the band was metal core and even back in the scene days that was a label that a lot of people didn't like because it was often seen as being lazy and unimaginative compared to other subgenres in the scene. That being said, there is good metal core out there for those who enjoy that sound, so I just wanted to hear what it is Beardson took particular ire towards. I recall vehemently disliking a particular metal core band from my local scene, it was just kind of something everyone did. We were kids, I didn't shit on people who liked them though.
