Just stop buying gas, that way the price goes down and Putin will go bankrupt! This is a brilliant plan with absolutely no downsides.

It is absolutely fucking ridiculous how out of touch these morons are.
The globos want us not using cars by 2030. Stopping us from doing that while moralising about Russia is absolutely the plan.

I think that the administration will frame the increase in gas prices as an incentive to push for greater electric car ownership under the guise of environmentalism. The reasoning for killing the pipelines was under the same topic, so it's not too much of a stretch to also make that conclusion.

The only problem is that electric cars are not affordable to the average American (especially now) compared to ICE vehicles, and electric car batteries degrade quite easily over time. Additionally, they are more expensive to repair in general.

Don't forget that we still lack the production capacity to even make electric vehicles viable, and yet our "betters" still insist on making our power grid go full solar/wind/hydro while conveniently ignoring nuclear energy. Globohomo is trying to sell us lemons.

This is disgusting shit, and more than half these people are the same fags who bitch and moan about the Thin Blue Line US Flag or similar things.

All they care about is Ukraine being free so they can launder money.
Thats not really and apple to apple comparison.

You had one country invade its neighbor, and I believe had putin managed to do a whole 3 days war with a regime change these fuckers would just shrug.

But you now have a narrative regarding invasion and resistance etc.

The ACAB mantra was just away to promote civil unrest and blame the bad orange man.

Anyone else think they might institute another stay at home order to preserve gas and try to mandate at home voting?
I don't know.

Might be bias from personal experience, but I think a lot of companies are having an "Oh Shit!" moment, as the lazy higher-ups who've been using work from home as an excuse to fuck off discover that the office workers have been doing the same thing and a lot of medium and long term projects are on the verge of flatlining and there may not be enough time to right things as is.

Also a lot of government agencies and corporations have spent decades fucking over the lower level employees for fear of being usurped that now when the C suite guys retire or die there's really no one to replace them.

Well time for even more fucking immigration I guess.

About that, Louisville, Colorado, recently mandated that all new homes built have to have electric car setups. They passed a new code right before there was a disastrous fire that gutted about 1,000 homes. So now the residents are begging them to get rid of the mandate (which I guess was supposed to apply to out-of-state builders, in theory) because it is adding tens of thousands of dollars to their rebuild budget.

Rex and Barba Hickman, whose four-bedroom, three-bathroom home was reduced to ash and rubble, said that while the new building codes are well-intentioned, homeowners affected by the fire should be exempt, and the city should also consider waiving permitting costs.
A consultant hired by the city calculated it would cost a minimum of about $20,000 under the new standards to rebuild a 2,820-square-foot (262-square-meter) home, the average size lost in the blaze.

Yet the Home Builders Association of Metro Denver emailed a letter to several groups Friday — including fire victims, insurers, real estate agents and builders — saying it would cost at least an additional $77,000 to build a 2,200-square-foot (204-square-meter) home under the new codes.

And the mayor is just blithely "SUCK IT UP" about it all.
“I understand that in this circumstance, it’s putting a lot of pressure on families,” she said. “But the biggest sources of carbon emission in our state are from buildings and from transportation, and we are in a climate crisis.”

It's sickening that a.) people let these policies happen and then freak out the second the bill comes due and b.) no reality will pierce their delusion that it's the right thing to drive people into poverty to appease the sky gods. This is our future.

Oh sure, that's 100% the plan. The reason is irrelevant, whether they're true believers in global warming or just want to force the plebs into their boxes so they can enact their neofeudalist dreams. The point is to fuck us over one way or the other so we have no choice but to obey our betters.

I really don't think they thought this through, however. If they're true believers, then they're going about this entirely wrong, given their adamant refusal to consider nuclear development and putting all their eggs in the renewable basket, not to mention the electric grid isn't up to widespread EV adoption. And as that article @Trianon posted makes clear, they continue to double and triple down even when their policies are actively hurting their constituents. If they're doing it cynically to make everyone poorer and be the only ones with a decent life, then they're really not considering the ramifications of effectively killing off global industry. I get that some of them really would rather be kings of the dung heap than let the plebs have even a scrap more, but do they seriously think their way of life would go on as it is now if the economy collapses? They might be fine for a while in their hideouts, but the food's gonna run out eventually.

Not to mention, y'know, the fact that the US has a shitload of guns and people who know how to use them. Probably best not to actively try fucking them over too much, lest something happens (in Raid: Shadow Legends).

Yes, they really do.

Not for the true elites it isn't

Your guns are never going to hit the true elites. Only ever the puppets.

November can't get here soon enough. I know a lot of House Democrats are retiring and I've heard that it's going to be a red wave, but can I get any insight on how's it going to go down? I know its the norm for the president's party to lose the midterm and Biden is seemingly going out of his way to antagonize the average Joe, but what's a realistic outcome after the dust has settled at the ballot box?

At this point I wouldn't be surprised if midterms got canceled "until we can be sure they will be free of Russian influence". Look forward to articles about "Why Free Elections are the Enemy of Democracy".

Congratulations - you've just created Civil War 2.0.

Watch for RINOs. In Texas the Attorney General, who sued for the 2020 election against that gay state Pennsylvania and has been suing the Biden administration repeatedly, was forced into a runoff with George P. Bush, who is blatantly trying to be tough on things like the border, but wants to keep the Bush legacy alive and will immediately be a Romney level faggot and do nothing. He just wants the prestige of Attorney General to audition for bigger jobs.

Make no mistake, the goal for establishment republicans is if they can't beat MAGA, to do everything they can to make MAGA not win. They'd rather let democrats win than let conservatives get in who want to make liberals have a taste of their own medicine. Murkowski and Cheney will 100% do this, and Romney is going to support a primary challenge against Mike Lee, who is more conservative than most but still gobbles Google's cock like it's only thing keeping him alive.

Quite a number of those Russians you'll probably find will go across. They were were holding their hands up this morning not wanting to fight Ukrainians.

'They were told lies by Putin, surprise surprise.'
Here's something that Twatter/Plebbit retards chanting "SLAV UKRANI!" don't (or choose not to) understand - nobody on either side of the Russo-Ukranian border wanted this war. But, due to Brandon's ineptitude and Putin's bloodthirsty fancies of being a Russian conquerer, it happened anyway. Sad situation all around. *sigh*

They only worship at the altar of the fiat throne.

Let's see if they care enough to have restraint when eternal rule is (seemingly) within their grasp.

I will give the liberals this - there is nothing to be hated more than a slimy member of the party that's more interested in their own self interests than listening to their constituents.

I don't think Cheney is long for her seat in Congress. The way she's acted is that of person who knows they're on their way out, and is trying to make any and all bridges burn as big and brightly as she can. I just hope when it's all said and done, McConnell is no longer the leader of the Senate Republicans. If I had it my way, it would be Rand Paul.

McConnell still knows DC way too well to be unseated that easily - he knows it like the back of his hand. And honestly? I could see Cheney angling for a flight to a red state that's dumb enough to vote her in, something like Tennessee or Kansas. She could afford to hide for six years if she could be the female Romney.
